On October 22, a selection of students from the YCIS Beijing orchestra put on an enthralling performance at the annual British Charity Ball. The event featured nearly 800 guests, with many flying in from other cities around China and abroad to attend the lavish evening.

One of three performances on the night, YCIS Beijing students performed Mozart's Symphony No. 25 in G Minor, K183, Movement1: Allegro con brio, a classic piece widely known as the opening music in Milos Forman's award-winning film Amadeus.

The upbeat tempo and racing strings had the audience entranced throughout the performance and was awarded with thunderous applause. Performance on a grand stage in front of a large audience served as undeniably valuable experience for the students' performing arts careers.

YCIS Beijing also contributed a Gold Sponsorship to this charitable event, benefiting two fantastic local charities in Roundabout and the Love and Hope Center. As a school that seeks to impart the value of in its students, this sponsorship served as a positive example for the student attendees.

We would like to thank all of the teachers and students who made this performance possible!
