会议邀请 | “‘一带一路’与东非地区发展路径高端研讨会”

各位专家、同仁：

逢第二届“一带一路”高峰论坛即将召开之际，索马里国家规划、投资与经济发展部部长Amb Gamal M. Hassan将来我院考察，商议合作事宜。经征求各方意见，我院东非区域国别研究中心拟于2019年4月23日举办“‘一带一路’与东非地区发展路径高端研讨会”。

特邀请非洲研究专家学者拨冗莅会，共商中非学术合作大计。会议不收取会务费，交通和住宿费用敬请自理，会议用餐由主办方承担。

Dear: 

On the occasion of the Second international Belt and Road Forum, The Center for East African Studies in the Institute of African Studies at Zhejiang Normal University intends to hold a High-Level Seminar on Development Trajectories in East Africa and the Belt and Road Initiative on Tuesday, 23rd of April, 2019. This high-level event will feature a keynote speech presented by H.E. Amb Gamal M. Hassan, Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia on the subject.

We are looking forward to your participation and contribution to this High-level event to further enrich the academic dialogue on development trajectories in East Africa, and the Belt and Road Initiative. Furthermore, academic presentations are invited from scholars, doctoral and postgraduate researchers from all disciplines.

Established in 2007, the Institute of African Studies at Zhejiang Normal University, is the first comprehensive and substantive African Research Institute based in China’s universities. In the decade since its founding, the Institute has remained focused on both producing influential academic output, as well as cultivating scholars in African Studies from both China and Africa, gaining reputation as a highly influential academic institution both at home and abroad. At the onset of its second decade, the Institute of African Studies intends to move towards a more regionalized, nationalized, distinctive and internationally oriented direction in its research. At the same time, the institute will continue to encourage young and upcoming scholars to conduct research, and provide them with the necessary support.
