Why We Make Music 这就是为什么我们做音乐 | Music Fundraiser 独立音乐拯救计划
Tapping into the idea that music needs a community in order to survive, Shanghai band Shanghai Qiutian, and good friends of LiveChinaMusic, have spearheaded this monumental fundraiser campaign entitled Why We Make Music - a joint platform created by many Chinese underground musicians & bands. The idea is that bands and musicians have donated their work (from CDs to merch) to help the struggling venues and labels who have been hit hardest by this pandemic. So how do you help? Simple - head over to the weidian page, buy something, and specify who you want to support (eight have been preselected). And voila! Your money will go directly to the venues and/or organization - helping them stay afloat this most difficult 2020. Full details below...
基于音乐需要社区和平台才能生存的理念，上海乐队上海秋天(LiveChinaMusic的好朋友)发起了一场名为“为什么我们创造音乐”的募捐活动，这是一个由许多中国地下音乐家和乐队共同创建的平台。他们的想法是，乐队和音乐人捐赠他们的作品(形式可以是从CD到乐队周边等)，以帮助在这场流行病中受到最严重影响的苦苦挣扎的音乐演出场地和唱片公司。您这边可以如何提供帮助呢?简单——转到微店页面，购买一些东西，并指定你想要支持的人(已经预选了8个人)。然后，恭喜你，你的钱将直接给到场馆和/或组织——帮助他们度过这个最困难的2020年。

After the outbreak, many venues and organizers/labels have seen their work falling apart because of the impossibility of having live concerts and events.
疫情过后，线下演出纷纷取消和延迟，在演出市场恢复前，主办方及场地方面临着前所未有的困难。
This is why we are putting together a platform to sell our creations in order to help a few of the venues we have seen needing (and have requested) help.
因此我们共同搭建了这个平台，售卖参与这个计划的音乐人及厂牌的专辑和周边来支持一部分我们力所能及且需要帮持的独立音乐实体。
In this platform (weidian) people will be able to buy the music/merch of their favorite musicians/bands and select who they want to support with that purchase (full amount of purchase goes to the venue the buyer chooses).
你可以挑选并购买你喜欢的乐队的专辑或周边，同时选择希望帮持的对象。所有的支付款项都将会交付给你选择的独立音乐实体。
After talking with many venues and different organizations, the following ones will be the default choices in the platform:
