Tomorrow’s Salt 明天的盐 - As Spring Faded 灯和蓝
Former Wisdom Tooth singer and guitarist Li Wangnian returns with a vengeance under the guise of Tomorrow’s Salt, a post punk outfit that keeps the focus on its razor-sharp yet emotionally potent lyricism and jangly and loose melodies. This is most evident on the exceptional ‘雨朵’ which manages to find the beauty and innocence lurking in the dark corners of the genre. And a reminder of the surprises still to be found in the increasingly saturated post punk scene here in China.
智齿前主唱和吉他手黎忘年以明天的盐重新归来，这是一支后朋乐队，有着犀利而富有感情的歌词，噪响却松散的旋律。这一风格在“雨朵”一歌中有着明显表现：潜藏在黑暗角落里的美丽纯真。这也提醒我们在中国趋于饱和的后朋音乐中，仍有许多惊喜等待我们发现。

Lao Dan 老丹- The Song of the Uninhabited Island 无人岛之歌
The improvisational musician and wind instrumentalist Lao Dan, one of the experimental scene’s highest regarded characters continues his prolific work on ‘The song of the Uninhabited Island’ which puts the musician’s mastery of the bamboo flute and the alto sax front and center, showcasing his evocative and mesmerizing use of them. While Dan’s fanciful flights of free jazz rear their head every so often, for the most part, it’s a tranquil, albeit swaying, piece of music that’s transcendent.
作为实验场景中最受尊敬的人物之一，即兴音乐家、吹管乐器演奏家老丹发行了《无人岛之歌》继续着他的高产。在这张专辑里体现了他对竹笛和低音萨克斯的熟练掌握，展示了他对着两种乐器引人入胜的运用。虽然偶尔会展露出自由爵士的元素，但在大多数情况下，这是一种宁静摇曳，超凡脱俗的音乐。

Zeming Xu - 言外之意 Unspoken
Following his own arrow - Kunming’s Zeming Xu is something of an outlier in the hip-hop scene, bringing his eclectic sense of genre and pop sensibilities to the forefront of his sound. Tapping into the laid-back vibe the southwestern province of China is known for, the multi-talented artist fuses rap, electronic music, rock, and hip-hop, creating a buoyant record that goes down smoothly.

Gong Gong Gong 工工工 - RYTME OG DRONE III 節奏與嗡鳴三
Beijing guitar/bass duo Gong Gong Gong return with Rytme Og Drone III, which takes the duo’s signature psychedelic blues sound and expands upon it with the help of Anton Rothstein (Whistler, Marching Church) and Angel Wei Bernild (First Hate) - recorded in Copenhagen at the end of their European tour. While the duo’s ‘phantom rhythm’ is still very much in play, it’s two collaborators (on drums and percussion) bring their own idiosyncrasies, turning each track into a freaky jam session that’s downright decadent.
