Referencing everything from Sonic Youth to Seattle grunge, it’s potent invigorating stuff - with distortions bleeding into one another whilst maintaining a noise rock pulse that’ll have your heart racing with reckless gleeful abandon. Yet beneath the band’s blissed-out fizz and wound-up aggression, there’s a melodic tenderness at hand - a celebration of our collective adolescent meltdown.

Muddy, chaos-loving garage punk that packs a punch - Oldy Baby - the Beijing based outfit led by roguish singer-songwriter Nathan Borofka, and rounded out by seasoned veterans of the scene - return with their latest collection of brute-force rock and roll - Big Pinkies. A highly combustible whirlwind of guitar, bass, and drums - all layered over Borofka’s irreverent anarchist lyricism - it comes at you fast and furious - throwing itself into a state of delirious oblivion - leaving those who stand in their path reeling in joy.
