Diner - Athena
Beijing based singer-songwriter Diner, shares the first single of her forthcoming EP Cassini - ‘Athena’ - a buzzy electro rock track full of attitude and a keen sense of what it’s like to be a female in the modern era. Taking place within the screen of a desktop, the video follows three different female characters - the pregnant mother, the office worker, and the live-streaming anchor - and the husbands, voyeurs, and sickened fans that abuse them from the safety of their computers. Luckily, the tables are eventually turned as our protagonist takes over and wrecks havoc. Keep an eye out for the new EP, produced by none other than Berlin producer maverick Mark Reeder.

SAN LOU - Just Dance
The lead single ‘Just Dance’ comes from the first full-length album "love, love, love" by singer, guitarist, songwriter Wang Yi (a.k.a. SAN LOU) who many will surely recognize from Shanghai Qiutian. A buoyant, funk-flavored summer jam with a message that anyone can get behind - the MV was originally supposed to filmed with a magnitude of dancers and videographers. But due to COVID restrictions and sudden lockdown, Wang Yi was forced to improvise and put together a montage that would make Mrs. Doubtfire pround. The full release with drop later this month courtesy of Eating Music.
主打单曲《Just Dance》来自歌手/吉他手/词曲家王毅（又名SAN LOU）的第一张全长专辑《love, love, love》，很多人肯定会认出他来自Shanghai Qiutian。这是一首乐天的、具有放克味道的夏季歌曲，传达的心情任何人都能会意。MV原本应由众多舞者和摄像师共同拍摄，但由于疫情限制和突如其来的封控，王毅只得即兴创作完成了一段蒙太奇风作品，里面的那些变装——Mrs.Doubtfire看到会骄傲的。完整的版本将在本月晚些时候由Eating Music提供。
Loooooongish Cat & Davecoin - Forest
‘A collaboration between a techno producing, tape mangling android feline (that is sort of long) and a full time synth wizard, part time cryptocurrency CEO’ Beijing electronic music pushers Loooooongish Cat & Davecoin show off their stuff with their latest single and MV for ’Forest’ released with Nurture Records in Chengdu. A ‘voyage through dimensions of psychedelic and dark techno’ it’s the kind of music made for a dubby night out in the humid forests of China and the delirious-assembled music video aims for exactly that. The tape release includes a handful of remixes from producers such as Tino, Marc Francois, lastboss, Ninjablade, and Tanline.
