Excellent IB results for Dulwich College Suzhou Class of 2019
Dulwich College Suzhou 2019 graduates have continued the College’s fine tradition of excellent performance in the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Graduating students recorded an average points score of 36.2, one of the highest averages within China, and also globally (global average 29.2).
Further congratulations to Kevin B who achieved the maximum 45 marks (of only 213 IB students globally), and 10 students who achieved 40+ points. This year, an impressive 10 students gained a highly respected Bilingual Diploma.
It has been the fifth year running for DCSZ in delivering outstanding IB performance.
Assistant Head Peter Roberts, IB Coordinator commented: “The IB Diploma Program at Dulwich College Suzhou has consistently delivered outstanding results with ouroverall average for the last 5 years standing at 37.1. However, this is not the only measurable outcome which we look at when evaluating the success of ourprogram. We also take equal pride in the highly positive feedback which ourgraduating students give us as we look to further refine and optimise the learning experience which they have at the College.”
The survey from our graduating class of 2019 found that with the reference to the IB "Approaches to Learning" (ATL):
100% of students believe they have improved their Thinking Skills;
84% ofstudents believe they have improved their Communication Skills;
96% ofstudents believe they have improved their Research Skills;
96% ofstudents believe they have improved their Self-Management skills;
88% ofstudents believe they have improved their Social Skills;
Furthermore, this year, DCSZ graduates have again received offers to the world's most reputable universities. Their splendid IB marks are not only solidifying these acceptances but are earning them many university course credits as well.
