NYU Professor's Re-entry Experience at PVG | 纽大教授上海浦东入境小记
He is going to share with us his experience of re-entry to Shanghai from Paris at the Pudong Airport on March 18th during the pandemic. So far, so good! 他将与我们分享疫情期间他从巴黎至上海浦东机场入境的个人经历。截至目前，一切安好！
经历两小时的等待后Deplaned at PVG乘客可以离机
The local staff will call people off by seat and do an initial round of temperature check. You may still need to fill out a paper form of the Health Declaration even though you have a digital one. You will get the guidance you need in every step. It's organized!
机场内等待两小时Luggage Claimed and Wait in Line

At the airport, your passports will get stickers with three different colors: Green, Yellow, and Red. Green sticker holders are free to go and conduct home self-quarantine for 14 days. And who gets the yellow or red label will need to continue to wait in line. For example, every traveler from Alex's Taiwan stopover flight had yellow stickers. The staff will escort you to your district/city and make an arrangement for you. Notably, private cars can no longer take any travelers back from the airport now.

乘大巴前往集中隔离酒店（20分钟车程）
In a group of 12, a shuttle bus came and picked up the group to one of the designated hotels for group quarantine and observation for 14 days. It's a four-star hotel with a stable wi-fi and other facilities. No mention of the payment of the accommodation and meal cost. However, to take the group quarantine or home self-quarantine will be determined by many factors by the local authorities like your personal health situation, the place(s) you take off, and whether you have a place other than a hotel/a serviced apartment to stay in Shanghai. Now, hotels and serviced apartments are not allowed to receive travelers coming from the "hot zones" mentioned above in the past 14 days.

Settled! Keep in mind that online shopping is not encouraged here. And every traveler will get the nucleic acid testing in their hotel rooms. Again, the detailed procedures may vary case by case, but the general big picture is like that!

Bring enough snacks, water, and power banks with you
随身携带零食、饮用水和充电宝；
Get your QR codes and register your accommodation and health situation before landing to avoid any inconvenience (Maybe, only paper Health Declaration Forms are used on-site in practice, and hence it's smart to also bring your own pen)
在着陆前就准备好取得你的随申码等二维码，并做好出入境人员网上住宿信息登记和健康申报表等手续（现场可能仅需纸质健康申报表，自备水笔为好）；
Be prepared for 5-6 hours wait at the airport（there are vending machines around）
做好在机场等候5-6小时的身心准备（附近有自动售货机）；
Now, hotels and serviced apartments are not allowed to receive travelers coming from the "hot zones" mentioned above in the past 14 days. You thus have a higher chance to conduct the group quarantine
酒店和服务公寓等现在不能接待过去14天从重点国家来访的旅行者。这类人员应该会参加集中隔离；
If you are sent to a group quarantine hotel, no panic since they will take good care of you.
如若进行集中隔离，请勿慌张，酒店方面会对你进行周到的照顾。
