作为首批省级重点中等职业学校，青苏职中40余年的发展，形成了厚重的文化积淀：“立足本土，放眼世界。培育国际人才，适应国际竞争”。
这是一所“国际化、现代化、多元化”的教育学府，在这里，英语、德语、日语和韩语多种语言汇集演绎；在这里，水墨书画、传统礼仪、茶艺、音乐剧与现代职业教育有机融合；在这里，太极与诗教等传统文化的基因正潜移默化地植根于学生心灵，这一切，皆传递着学校“心心向善、事事尚美”的永恒教育主题。
My name is Amanda Sturchio and I’m a foreign teacher at Qingsu Vocational High School. I had a really positive experience working with these students. They were very dedicated and respectful at all times. I really appreciated the effort that students put into my class, especially because speaking a foreign language isn’t an easy thing to do. It’s very easy to become timid when you have a foreigner in the classroom ,but I really did appreciate how they welcomed me with how much effort they put into trying to speaking English .So I have worked in China for 3 years now, mostly international schools .I do enjoy preparing students to go abroad to learn something different .The approach to education in a country such as America ,where I ‘m from ,is quite different and I think it’s a little bit more interactive and hands-on. I think at a vocational school like this, students are really able to get a different perspective while having a hands-on approach.
我叫阿曼达，是青苏职中的外教。和学生们在一起很有正能量的感觉，他们一直都很勤奋，也很尊重他人。我由衷的感谢学生们把精力投入到我的课堂，因为我知道学习一门外语并非易事。当遇到外教老师在时，通常学生会在课堂表现很容易变得胆小怯懦。但我确实非常感谢他们在课堂上努力的去练习说英语。我来中国工作已经有三年时间了，都是在一些国际化的语言学校。能为这些学生出国留学开眼界我很开心，学生们能够有机会到诸如我们的国家，美国这样的国家学习是与中国的教学不相同的。我认为这样的学习方式是相互影响的也是可以让学生亲身实践和体验的。在青苏职中这样的学校，学生们能够真正获得机会去体验这样的学习方式。
It’s a great honor for me to go to Amanda’s English class. Although it’s only a short period of time. I have gained a lot. Amanda is a very humorous and enthusiastic teacher. Her lessons will help you relax and communicate with her like old friends. Her classes are also very special, so you can find something unexpected. There are so much fun in the activities. Although it’s hard to say6 goodbye, we still wish her that she can have a nice time in China. Thanks so much for her coming and teaching us.
我很荣幸能够上外教阿曼达的课。尽管时间比较短，但我却收获很多，阿曼达是一位充满热情的老师，她的课堂教学生动有趣。和她交流就像老朋友一样。同时她的课堂还是特别的，你能得到意想不到的东西，我们在活动中获得了很多快乐。分别都是不容易的，我们希望阿曼达在中国能够度过愉快的时光。感谢她来到我们的学校并教我们。
