展览前言

“期待--毕业之星的选择”是盒子艺术空间固定的年度青年项目第三期，将于2017年10月15日在华侨城欢乐海岸盒子艺术空间开幕。

“期待”是表示前一种前倾的取向，既是艺术家自身创作的内在能量的源泉，也是盒子艺术空间期待创造真正面向大众的平台让青年艺术家们呈现，期待为青年的创作提供驱动力。毕业创作是青年艺术家学习生涯的一个节点，也是艺术家们针对自身创作自我梳理的契机，又是个人创作经验与学院教育传统之间的碰撞成果。这个阶段是他们由高校学生向个体艺术家的角色转换的节点。他们将会带着期待进入一种新的境遇。这次展览盒子的展示方式是作品直接进入到介入到日常大众场所，使艺术家的作品在一个另外的场域发生效果。从而促使他们产生新的思考。

本次展览策划方广州美术学院油画系策划组邀请了常博文、陈若男、邓景峰、古师承、何嘉雯、何泉、金瀚、孔华宝、李逸婷、林滢滢、刘斯博、卢国振、陆子洋、罗隽、聂菊平、乔宇、乔钊、韦璐、吴凌舒、吴素珊、伍宇豪、香智杰、谢凌峰、谢少亚、游飘、于达禾、张贝贝、张璟陶、赵宇、周启涵、朱湘共31位艺术家参与。他们均是各大美院2017届毕业生佼佼者。他们的作品媒介涉及架上绘画、雕塑、装置、影像等等。本次展览将一直持续到2017年12月15日。

Preface

〝Expectation: The Choice of the Graduate Star〞is the third phase of the annual youth project in Boxes Art Space, which will be opened on October 15, 2017 at the OCT Harbour.

〝Expectation〞means the orientation of the former lean, for the artist's, which is both a source of their own creation’s internal energy, but also an expectation of Box Art Space to create a platform facing the public to present themselves, looking forward to providing the driving force for youth creation. Graduation creation is a node of learning career for young artists, which is also an opportunity of self-combing for the artists. Moreover, graduation creation is also the result of collision between Personal Creation Experience and College Education Tradition.

This stage is the node of their role conversion from college students to individual artists. They will enter into a new situation with the expectation. The display mode of Exhibition Box is to make works directly enter into the daily public places, making artist works take effect in an additional field, so that it can prompt them to produce new thoughts.

The Curating Group of Oil Painting Department of GAFA invited 31 artists to attend this exhibition, include Chang Bowen, Chen Ruonan, Deng Jingfeng, Gu Shicheng, He Jiawen, He Quan, Jin Han, Kong Huabao, Li Yiting, Lin Yingying, Liu Sibo, Lu Kamen, Lu Ziyang, Luo Jun, Nie Juping, Qiao Yu, Qiao Zhao, Wei Lu, Wu Lingshu, Wu Sushan, Ng Yu Ho, Xiang Zhijie, Xie Lingfeng, Xie Shaoya, You Piao, Yu Dahe, Zhang Beibei, Zhang Jingtao， Zhao Yu，Zhou Qihan， Zhu Xiang. They are all outstanding graduates of 2017 from various large academies. Their works involve the painting, sculpture, installation, image, and so on. The exhibition will continue until December 15, 2017.
