2020年9月,将是广州市番禺区诺德安达学校的全新起点,而前期的教师专业发展集训,拉开的是这场新征程的前奏。集结的号角,将一群志同道合、学识渊博、深谙国际教育又具有跨文化能力和理解力的中外教师,汇集到了崭新又生机葳蕤的诺校校园,共同探索如何在创校之年,便建立纯正的双语课程、国际化学习传统与独特的广州诺校身份认同的 “超酷” 目标,使广州诺校成为一所名副其实的全球学校

September 2020 will be a new starting point for Nord Anglia School Guangzhou, Panyu. The professional development training for teachers is a prelude to this new journey. The trumpet sounds bringing together a group of like-minded teachers who are knowledgeable, well versed in international education and with cross-cultural ability and understanding to our flourishing new campus. We have explored how to establish a pure bilingual curriculum, international learning tradition and unique NASGZ, Panyu "cool" goal and identity in our founding year, so that NASGZ, Panyu becomes a truly global school. 



首日的“破冰”游戏与“夜游珠江”团建用简洁而温暖的方式让中外教师、助教、寄宿团队迅速拉近了距离,熟悉了彼此;而对诺德安达教育愿景与使命的解读与分享,既使每位成员理解了诺德安达教育近五十年优质教育实践的恒久价值,也启发了所有人抱以远大的期望,付以更大的努力。老师们也将自己对诺德安达教育愿景与使命的重新思考与审视写进了给未来的自己的信件里,相信这样的欣然接受与深刻反思,一定会创造出一些真正特别的东西来。

On the first day of the training session we enjoyed an "Ice Breaking" activity and, at the end of the day, a "Pearl River Tour" to celebrate the Chinese teachers, international teachers, teaching assistants and the boarding team coming together and eager to become familiar with each other quickly in a simple and warm way. The sharing of the vision and mission of Nord Anglia Education not only enabled each member to understand the lasting value of nearly 50 years of high-quality education practice of Nord Anglia Education, but also inspired everyone to hold high expectations and make great efforts. Teachers also wrote letters to their future selves about their re-thinking and re-examining of the vision and mission of Nord Anglia education, and believing that this kind of happy acceptance and deep reflection will create something truly special.



而接下来行程满满的专业培训,则是打破时间和空间的限制,寻找为教师赋能的更高效、更具启发性的方式,为全体教师提供业内权威的、前沿的教学理念、教学方法、教学策略与教学管理,包括国际化教育资源与中国国家课程的融合与实践,自然拼读课程,身心健康与安全课程,ISAMS学校管理系统与ITSLEARNING教学管理系统,以及教学评估方式等。而线上培训与线下讨论分享的多重形式,也使大家有机会与专家、同行们分享实际教学案例,共同商讨实操策略。互相交流,众师成长,一定是这个时代必要的教育模式。

The professional training has focused on more than the limit of time and space, but to find more efficient and more instructive ways, to provide the confident commitment, the forefront of teaching concept, teaching methods, teaching strategies and teaching management for all teachers, including the integration of IPC, IMYC and Chinese National Curriculum, the Language Phonics course, health and safety courses, ISAMS and ITSLEARNING, as well as the ways of evaluation for and of learning and so on. The multiple forms of online training and offline discussion and sharing have also provided opportunities for our teachers to share practical teaching cases with experts and peers and discuss practical strategies together. This mutual exchange and the professional focus and growth for teachers, is the necessary education model of our time.





充实的专业培训一方面使中外教师们迅速掌握诺德安达双语教育的模式与技能,同时学校的课程与语言学习协调员团队正带领全体教师成为教学“产品设计师”,设计着贯穿全学年的各年级各学科学习单元计划、跨学科主题单元的教学设计。这些高质量的教学设计,既要求能够真正吸引学生热爱学习,调动学生的学习动机与积极性,又能使教师适应并掌握这种以学生中心的个性化教学能力。可以说,这几周的专业培训,既注重提升教师在课堂中进行国际化融合教学的实践能力,在教学设计方面又尽可能地开拓思维,集思广益提供教育策略和教育资源。

The enriched professional training has enabled Chinese and international teachers to master the mode and skills of Nord Anglia bilingual education quickly. Meanwhile, our curriculum coordinators and Language Acquisition Coordinator have led our teachers to become “product designers”,They designed the learning unit plan of each grade and each discipline throughout the whole school year and the interdisciplinary thematic units. These high quality teaching designs not only attract students passion for learning and arouse students' learning motivation and enthusiasm, but also enable teachers to adapt to and master the student-centered personalized teaching focus. The professional training in these weeks has not only focused on improving the practical ability of teachers to conduct international integrated teaching in class, but also broadened their thinking as much as possible in teaching design in providing educational strategies and resources.
