四年级的孩子2-3周就需要读完一本书,每周完成阅读记录单,分享自己的读书心得;而写作呢,是一个日常积累的过程,在“每日一句“的练习中,同学们发挥创意给句子配插图,甚至灵感闪现,通过不断的练习,孩子们把”每日一句“变成了”每日一段“。从他们分享的作业中能感觉出大家在学习中发现了快乐,如同采访中陈老师说的那样“把写作当作了游乐场。”

Every Chinese Language and Literature teacher in our school attaches great importance to the cultivation of reading and writing ability.
Grade 4 children need to read a book in 2-3 weeks, and complete the reading record every week and share their reading experience.
Writing is a process of daily accumulation. In the practice of "One sentence a day", students use their creativity to illustrate sentences. The children turn "One sentence a day" into "One paragraph a day“. They found happiness in study. As Ms. Chen said in the interview,
"They regard writing as a playground."

我校的科学课堂非常注重跨学科的学习,除了培养孩子的发散性思维外,还会和英文、艺术等课程相结合;比如三年级的学生在学习拯救世界这个主题时,科学老师会鼓励孩子自己制作一个热带雨林的3D模式,在制作的过程中增加了生物知识和英文词汇;而在学习火山这个主题时,还鼓励同学们分组辩论,探讨“火山附近是否适合人类居住”。
此外,在老师的带领下,低年级的同学们还会探讨“微塑料对地球环境有哪些影响“,在他们心里埋下环保的种子。

Our science class attaches great importance to interdisciplinary learning. The planning of the Science Curriculum is interdisciplinary and is combined with English, art, and all other courses.
For example, when the Grade 3 students were studying the topic of Saving The World , the science teacher encouraged the children to make a 3D model of tropical rain forest by themselves, adding biological knowledge and English vocabulary in the learning and creation process; When learning the topic of Volcano, students were encouraged to debate in groups to discuss “ whether the vicinity of volcano is suitable for human habitation”.
