The intro

(Listening Comprehension)

Ladies and gentlemen, before I talk about today's phrase of the day, let me share a random fact with you guys, you know since I don't have anything interesting to share. Ok, I'm sure all of you are familiar with the game rock-paper-scissors(剪刀石头布). Many people assume that it started from Japan, but actually it was created in China. It wasn't until the 1700s that it made its way over to Japan. So the first known mention of the game was in a book by the Chinese Ming Dynasty writer Xie ZhaoZhe(谢肇浙)who wrote that the game dated back to the time of the Chinese Han Dynasty. In the book, the game was called shoushiling(手势令). So now you know, China invented everything. Well...kinda, not everything though. Alright let's talk about the phrase of the day, and that is "tough luck". Check it out !
