Starting at the end of December 2019, a dangerous virus began to make itself known in Wuhan, China. The coronavirus, a cousin to the SARS virus, is believed to have started in an animal before it was transmitted to humans. Unlike the SARS virus, coronavirus also spreads from person to person. The timing of an outbreak is never good, yet this time it is especially rough because of the Chinese New Year. Our hearts and prayers go out to those who have been so horrifically impacted, and to those who are in the midst of the battle.

We, the people of the world, come together as we offer our heartfelt thoughts and prayers for those who are being impacted by the coronavirus.

May those who are healthy and virus free remain safeguarded, while also acquiring a desire to assist those who are in need.

We ask a special blessing on all who have been impacted; may they find peace amid the chaos, tranquility among the havoc, and may they be spared the sorrows of losing loved ones.

May those who have cause to mourn be blessed with comfort and peace - let the happy memories of their loved ones remain in their hearts forever.

May the doctors, hospital staff, and health care professionals be blessed as they tirelessly strive to provide treatment and comfort to those who are suffering - let their insight and understanding be enlarged and increased, that they might give the best of themselves while being protected from all harm.

As we come together, uniting in our efforts during this time of crisis, we send our hope that happiness will break through the darkness as the people of China, and especially those in Wuhan, come out on the other side of this trial stronger, happier, and kinder. May they feel strength and power from the prayers from all over the world.

和希望比病毒蔓延得更快!
