展览预告‖水墨汤湖——武汉市文史研究馆馆员书画作品展

习近平总书记指出：“改革开放是当代中国发展进步的活力之源，是决定当代中国命运的关键一招。”
为纪念我国改革开放40周年的伟大实践和辉煌成就，全面回顾40年来波澜壮阔的伟大历史进程，以艺术的形式展示新时代当代中国改革开放和社会主义现代化建设成果，讴歌改革开放的时代精神，武汉市文史研究馆与汤湖美术馆隆重推出书画作品展览，以书画创作呈现鲜明的时代风貌，展现武汉发展进步的美好愿景。
成立于1953年的武汉市文史研究馆，坚持以传承中华优秀传统文化为立馆之本，始终秉承“敬老崇文，存史资政”的宗旨，成为了我市继承并引领中华优秀传统文化的重要阵地。2017年，武汉市文史研究馆成立书画院，举办了一系列名家作品展览，为广大人民群众提供了丰美的精神食粮，与社会公众共同分享了改革开放以来的优秀文化艺术成果。
本次展览延续了汤湖美术馆“水墨汤湖”的展览品牌，汇聚了武汉市文史研究馆书画院28位艺术家的百余件作品，艺术风格各异，涵盖国画、书法、速写等艺术形式，呈现了馆员们赞美时代、热爱生活、倾心艺术的精神风貌。
长风破浪会有时，直挂云帆济沧海。拥抱新时代，践行新思想，开启新征程，我们相信，本次展览能够做到铭记历史、启迪当代、激励来者。

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out reform and opening up is the source of contemporary China's development and a crucial option that determines the fate of modern China.
In commemoration of the great practice and brilliant achievements in China's 40 years of reform and opening up, we have reviewed the magnificent great historical process over the past 40 years and shown the results of China's reform, opening up and socialist modernization in the new era with our art works and our praise to the spirit of the times. Wuhan Research Institute of Culture and History and Tanghu Museum of Art hold this grand exhibition of calligraphy and painting works to present the distinct features of the time and show Wuhan's vision of development and progress.
Since its founding in 1953, Wuhan Research Institute of Culture and History has always adhered to keeping China’s fine traditional culture alive, respecting the ancestors and culture, preserving history and giving advice to the government. It has become an important front for transmitting and leading Chinese excellent traditional culture in our city. In 2017, Wuhan Research Institute of Culture and History has set up the Academy of Painting and Calligraphy and held a series of exhibitions of famous works providing the public with rich intellectual nourishment and excellent social and cultural achievements since the reform and opening up.
This exhibition continued the theme of Ink Art in Tanghu and collected more than 100 pieces of works by 28 artists from Wuhan Research Institute of Culture and History. The works are presented in various forms including Chinese painting, calligraphy, sketch and so on. They have reflected the members' spirit of singing high praises of the time and their love towards life and art.
When we hoist the sails to cross the sea, we will ride the wind and cleave the waves. So, let's embrace the new era, practice new ideas and embark on a new journey. We believe that this exhibition will remember the history, enlighten the modern society and motivate the visitors.
