After an extensive and in-depth research about market feedback and editorial background on thousands of candidates, the Chinese Business Law Journal officially announced this year’s elite lawyers in the Chinese legal market in “The A-List” published on January 5th, 2023.

经过对数千名候选人在华市场反馈和深入研究，《商法》（China Business Law Journal）于2023年1月5日发布的“A-List法律精英”中正式公布了2022年度中国法律市场的精英律师名单。

The lawyers on the “A-List” roster were selected by the Business Law Journal based on an extensive call for nominations and research. To identify the top private practice lawyers in the China market, Business Law Journal sent invitations to more than 10,000 corporate legal and executive officers, Chinese and international law firm partners, and legal experts from a wide range of industries in China and around the world to hear from the industry and help Business Law Journal make its selection.

“法律精英”名册上的律师是《商法》根据广泛征集提名及调研评选而来的。为了评选出在中国市场表现出色的私人执业律师，《商法》向中国和全球过万名企业法务与高管、中国与国际律所合伙人，以及各行各业的法律专家发出邀请，听取业界的声音，助《商法》做出甄选。

The market was more eager than expected. After months of judging, the finalists were selected based on a combination of market nominations, submissions from nominees, and independent editorial research. All lawyers in private practice involved in the China market were automatically eligible to enter the nomination process, and there was no fee or other restrictions on entry.

市场的热切程度远超想象。经历数月的评审，最终获奖名单基于市场提名、获提名者提交的申报资料，以及编辑部独立调研的综合评选结果。所有参与中国市场业务的私人执业律师都自动符合进入提名程序的资格，并且进入提名程序不收取任何的费用，亦没有其他限制条件。

Carlo D'Andrea

Carlo Diego D’Andrea is founder and managing partner of D’Andrea & Partners with offices in China, Italy, Vietnam, India, the UAE, and a Russia desk. Graduated in law from University of Teramo in Italy, D’Andrea subsequently obtained his master’s degree in corporate advisory at LUISS University in Rome and a diploma in Chinese studies at Nanjing Normal University. He is a member of the Italian Bar Association.

代开乐（Carlo D'Andrea）是德恩瑞律师事务所的创始人和管理合伙人，德恩瑞在中国、意大利、越南、印度、阿联酋设有办公室。代开乐毕业于意大利特拉莫大学法学专业，之后在罗马LUISS大学获得企业顾问硕士学位，以及南京师范大学中文学习文凭。他是意大利律师协会会员。

Based in China since 2005, he is a renowned international lawyer with extensive experience in a full range of legal services to multinational companies investing in major developing economies. He mainly assists companies with cross-border mergers and acquisitions, assistance in ODI/FDI, relocation projects and intellectual property rights protection.

代开乐于2005年来到中国，一直为在主要发展中经济体投资的跨国公司提供全方位法律服务，他拥有丰富经验并享有盛誉。他主要协助公司进行跨国并购、跨境投资、搬迁项目和知识产权保护。

Currently, he also holds the position of national Vice President at the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, after four years of being Chairman of the Board of the EUCCC Shanghai chapter.

目前，他还担任中国欧盟商会全国副主席的职务，此前四年他曾担任中国欧盟商会上海分会的董事会主席。

He is also an adjunct professor of International Organizations at the Faculty of Law of LUISS University, in Rome. He hosts the podcast “Global Vision - Private Chat With Carlo D’Andrea”, regularly participates in international events and conferences as a speaker on international business and legal matters, and is the author of books concerning the subject of investments in different countries such as China, Vietnam, India and Belarus.

代开乐律师也是罗马LUISS大学法学院的国际组织兼职教授。他主持播客 "全球视野--与Carlo D'Andrea的私人谈话"，经常作为国际商业和法律事务的发言人参加国际活动和会议，并撰写了在中国、越南、印度和白俄罗斯投资的法律实务指南。

Matteo Zhi

Mr. Matteo Zhi is the Senior Partner of D'Andrea & Partners and responsible for operations in China. He advises clients on both Chinese and cross-border matters and business transactions. His special focus areas are cross-border investments (FDI & ODI), mergers and acquisitions, international trade, corporate law, antitrust, and IPR protection as well as dispute resolution.

智寒斌为意大利德恩瑞律师事务所全球权益合伙人，负责中国区业务。智寒斌为客户在中国及跨境领域提供各种法律服务，其执业领域主要为跨境投资、兼并与收购、国际贸易、公司治理、反垄断、知识产权保护以及争端解决等。

He graduated in Law from the University of Nanjing, and was then awarded a master’s degree as corporate adviser (Giurista d’impresa) at Roma Tre University and a JM at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Koguan Law School. He has made several speeches on topics regarding investments in Italy in different seminars as well as published various articles regarding Sino-Italian legal affairs. He speaks Chinese, English and Italian and is one of the few Chinese lawyers who can work fluently in Italian.

智寒斌毕业于南京大学法学院，并取得罗马第三大学“企业法学家”及上海交通大学凯原法学院法律硕士学位，经常受邀在各种跨境投资论坛上做关于投资意大利的演讲，并发表了多篇关于中意法律研究的文章。智寒斌母语为中文，但其意大利语及英语亦非常流利，是国内为数不多的使用意大利语工作的中国律师。

He advises over 100 Italian multinationals on their investments in China, among which include, the country’s largest state-owned enterprise, Leonardo Group, Serie A football club, Naples, the famous furniture company Cassina – Poltrona Frau and luxury racing car producer Maserati. He also advises Italian institutions such as the General Consulate of Italy in Shanghai and the Italian Trade Agency in China. Other than Italian entities, he assists Chinese enterprises on their investments in Italy, in particular, assisting OPPEIN group in establishing their European Headquarters in Milan and also providing consultancy to Jinko Solar, Lenovo Group, Kehua Holding etc. Moreover, he assists the biggest private group of India, TATA Group, the leading Indian carmaker BAJAJ, and the top American automotive engineering company PAC, on their legal affairs in China. 

智寒斌律师主要为意大利在华投资企业提供法律服务，累计服务意大利企业一百余家，其中包括意大利最大的国有企业莱昂纳多集团、意甲劲旅那不勒斯足球俱乐部、意大利第一家具品牌卡希纳（玻托那福劳）集团、意大利豪华跑车玛莎拉蒂集团等。同时，常年为意大利驻上海总领事馆、意大利对外贸易委员会驻华代表机构等提供法律顾问服务。除了服务来华投资意企外，智律师还积极协助中国企业赴意投资，帮助欧派橱柜在米兰设立欧洲总部并进行投资并购服务，为晶科集团、联想集团、科华控股等公司在意投资提供咨询服务，促进中意双边经贸交流合作。除中意法律服务外，智律师还为印度最大民营企业TATA集团、汽车行业巨头BAJAJ集团、美国汽车设计顶级公司PAC等提供法律服务。
