Stabilizing supported gold catalysts in acetylene hydrochlorination by constructing an acetylene–deficient reaction phase

We have proposed a new strategy for constructing a C2H2-deficient reaction phase around the active site by coating an IL film on the surface of Au(H2O)/C, leading to great improvement in the catalytic stability of Au(H2O)/C catalyst. Our work provides a universal method for tuning the stoichiometric balance of reactants.

Novel HBD-containing Zn (dobdc) (datz) as efficiently heterogeneous catalyst for CO2 chemical conversion under mild conditions

Novel 3D MOF Zn (dobdc) (datz) with hydrogen bond donors (HBD) groups showed excellent catalytic performance for CO2 conversion to cyclic carbonates under mild conditions or even room temperature, it presented high catalytic activity within consecutive six runs and was easily recycled by simple centrifugation.

Confining MoS2 nanocrystals in MOF-derived carbon for high performance lithium and potassium storage

Confined synthesis tactic has been applied to realize the MoS2 nanocrystals well-distributed into the MOF-derived porous carbon for effectively refraining their aggregation and sulfur-dissolution during electrochemical process, exhibiting greatly enhanced lithium and potassium storage performances.

Metallurgical pyrolysis toward Co@Nitrogen-doped carbon composite for lithium storage

Co based metal−organic frameworks are used as pyrolysis precursor to prepare nitrogen-doped carbon-Co composites possessing core-shell@sheet structure. NaY zeolite is applied in the adsorption separation of ethylene glycol (EG) and 1,2-butanediol (1,2-BDO). The adsorption properties of NaY was studied by experiment; competition adsorption and diffusion characteristics in different adsorption regions was investigated by molecular modelling.

Investigation the improvement of high voltage spinel LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 cathode material by anneal process for lithium ion batteries

The LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 sample treated with anneal process presents superior cycling stability compared with the initial sample. The better cycling stability is ascribed to the better electronic conductivity induced by the thin layer originated from anneal process and the more stable crystal structure.

Hydrolysis hydrogen production mechanism of Mg10Ni10Ce alloy surface modified by SnO2 nanotubes in different aqueous systems

Simulated seawater (3.5 wt% NaCl) is proved to be an ideal medium for hydrolysis H2 production. And SnO2 nanotubes with unique microstructure, can accelerate the initial hydrolysis rate and enhance the final H2 generation yield of Mg10Ni10Ce.

Cross-polymerization between the model furans and phenolics in bio-oil with acid or alkaline catalysts

Understanding the molecular structure of HSW coal at atomic level: A comprehensive characterization from combined experimental and computational study
