区域研究协会（RSA）致力于区域问题的理论发展、经验分析以及政策相关领域的研究，涵盖区域经济发展、区域管理政策、区域不平等等研究主题，是目前区域发展研究领域最活跃、也最具影响力的国际学术组织。且一直致力于向会员提供适用于各职业阶段的一系列资金支持。这些基金和奖励项目用来支持会员进行科学研究和组织学术交流活动，为杰出人才颁发奖项，支付会员参加非RSA会议的旅费等。

2017年研究资助及奖励项目已准备就绪，请根据各项基金申请时间及时申请。

RSA Policy Expo Grant Scheme up to £15,000, Deadline: 6th March 2017

RSA 政策阐述基金（2017新增），金额：15,000磅， 申请截止日期：2017年3月6日

The Association has launched a new policy research initiative for successful teams aiming to connect the work of its members and wider communities to societal questions and policy needs. The Expos will deliver a short form policy focussed, clear and evidenced book for launch particularly within the relevant practice based communities and to the academic community through the Association’s membership benefits and wider book sales.

Applications are invited on the following themes:

• Industrial Strategy and the Role of Industry, Employment & Apprenticeships in Cities and Regions

• Climate change, adaptation and governance

• Global Migration and regional development

RSA Early Career Grant Scheme up to£10,000, Deadline: 31st May 2017

RSA 早期职业奖金，金额：10,000磅，申请截止日期：2017年5月31日

This award is open to individual applicants in their early career (five years maximum between the date showing on the certificate and the application deadline). The RSA Early Career Grant is provided to support a discrete piece of regional studies and/or regional science research.

RSA Membership Research Grant Scheme upto £5,000, Deadline: 8th May 2017

The RSA Membership Grants aim to reward excellence and support outstanding individual researchers on a topic related to regional studies and regional science.

RSA Fellowship Research Grant Scheme upto £7,500, Deadline: 8th May 2017

The RSA Fellowship Research Grants (FeRSA) aim to support the research of established researchers and long-term RSA members. RSA Fellows are individual members who have been continuous members for a minimum of 5 years and who have also been defined as “active members”. 

RSA Research Networks Grant Scheme up to£10,000, Deadline: 31st July 2017

RSA研究网络基金，金额：10,000磅，申请截止日期：2017年7月31日

RSA Research Networks are formed by RSA members interested in meeting to examine an issue that responds to the aims and goals of the Association and is of interest and concern to members of the Association as well as non-members. The issue needs not necessarily to have a direct policy focus but the examination would normally lead to policy related conclusions.

RSA Travel Grant up to £500, Deadlines in 2017: 28th February, 31st May, 31stAugust, 30th November.

RSA旅费补助，金额：500磅，2017年申请截止日期：2月28日；5月31日；8月31日；11月30日（共4轮机会）

Apply for up to £500 funding towards your travel costs (transport only) to attend a non-RSA event. This grant is anopportunity to help members towards travel costs to present and participate at worldwide non-RSA events within the field. There are four funding rounds in 2017.

RSA Awards 2017, Deadline: 31st May 2017

RSA 2017 奖励，申请截止日期：2017年5月31日

Nominations (both self-nominations and third party nominations) of current members are being sought for the following awards in regional studies and related fields, which will be awarded by the Regional Studies Association Award Committee in 2017. 

·        Nathaniel Lichfield Award (Master Award) - the nominee must have graduated with a Master in 2016 or 2017.

·        RSA PhD Student Award - the nominee has to be a registered PhD student who has not yet received their certificate.

·        RSA Routledge Early Career Award - the nominee has to be an early career researcher within five years of the date on their PhD certificate or equivalent.

The prize for each Award is a cheque (£500); a certificate; up to £200 discretionary fund toward attending the 2017 RSA President's Event in London, UK (transport costs).
