KooFa Appointed as Legal Counsel of GD-SOE Counsel Association

On Dec. 1st, with the solid professional skills and superior service concept, KooFa Law Firm gained recognition of State-Owned Enterprise Counsel Association of Guangdong Province (hereinafter referred to as the “S.O.E.C.A”) and was appointed as its legal counselor.

S.O.E.C.A is a social organization approved to establish by Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province and composed by 8 enterprises including Guangdong Airport Authority, Guangdong Guangye Assets Management Co., Ltd, Guangdong Rising Assets Management Co., Ltd, Guangdong Yudean Group Co., Ltd, Guangdong Transportation Group Co., Ltd, Guangdong Guangxin Holdings Group Ltd, Guangdong Holdings Limited, and Guangdong Assets and Equity Exchange Group. S.O.E.C.A contributes to improve the professional ability of legal counsels in Guangdong state-owned enterprises, and facilitates state-owned enterprises to operate in accordance with law, as well as protects state-owned enterprises’ rights and builds legal service and communication platform. 

In May 2017, after rounds of evaluation and selection, KooFa is admitted to the Guangdong State-owned Assets Committee System as one of the legal service professional institutes. The legal service provided by KooFa team has obtained clients’ long-term credit. Over the years, KooFa has served many state-owned enterprises in Guangdong, through which KooFa has accumulated extensive practice experience in the field of SOE corporate governance, reform and reconstruction, mixed ownership mechanism, employee stock ownership incentive and other aspects of state-owned assets&equity management and routine operation of state-owned enterprises.
