这首歌是梁艺去年写的，我一下子就觉得把这首歌变成个MV其实会很有趣。这首歌的主题是混沌,也是关于教育的暗面。
This song was written by Liangyi in the fall of last year and I almost instantly think it will be a suitable song for an MV. This song is talking about chaos but also about the kind of education which leads to chaos…
依据梁艺的歌词，我开始做自己对CHAOS的诠释——用磁带来做比喻。我觉得人就像磁带一样呆在磁带盒里，想出来，但一直很听话地随大流。但如果这些磁带有机会出来，它们就会一下子四处乱窜，没办法回到原来的样子。
Based on Liangyi’s words I made my personal interpretation of Chaos through a tape metaphor : For me, people are like tapes, rolled inside their shell tamed by life’s stream, rules, education. Very docile but once you take the tape roll out of the shell the tapes instantly spread everywhere wildly and become impossible to tame back.
CHAOS是希腊神话里面的一个词，没有混沌一切都没有。对我来说，有趣的艺术就是那些会让一些CHAOS进来的艺术。
Chaos in the Ancient Greek religion is the beginning of everything, without chaos no life, nothing. Personally, interesting art is the art which let an open door to chaos
已经打算了很久要拍一个和磁带有关的MV：是关于一个磁带人的故事。了解我工作的粉丝能在我们2013年的巡演预告片里发现他，Turn black的VJ里也有他。现在在CHAOS的MV里你们终于可以看到他的故事了。
It’s been a long time I wanted to do an MV based on tapes with a man made of tape ( people who really know my work can see him in our first tour teaser’s and later in some turn black Visuals. In chaos’s MV you can finally see its story.
我是五月份开始写这个MV的，随着时间的经过，这个关于磁带的想法变的越来越丰富。因为这个MV是关于磁带的全面侵略，所以需要三十多个演员参与，在三十多个不同的地方拍摄（大部份在户外），因此今年九月才能拍完。
I started to write this MV months ago and the more the time was flowing, the more the idea became complex : Because this video is a tape invasion，I ended since last September shooting more than 30 people in 30 different locations.
这个MV很难拍，因为我画的分镜版里有很多idea。在这个习惯用特别时髦的镜头在很少的地点拍MV的时代，这样的拍摄方式就非常old school。
This MV was quite hard to make cause of the complexity, the storyboard I wrote and countless ideas…it is quite old school to shoot a MV this way in an era where most of MVs are shot in a few locations with fancy camera movements…
这个MV的团队比较少但非常努力（我们一般情况三个人：阿星，我的第一导演助手,剪片子, , 和张洋,所有后勤工作, 计划，在一个废弃的房子跟我一起做蜘蛛网，用磁带布满车里所有空间。
想感谢他们俩儿和所有来帮我们的朋友，演员。。。
This MV’s team around me was mainly two more people （阿星 first director assistant , framing, montage and 张洋 for the all logistic, planning, making a taped spider web with me in an abandoned village and so on，filling a whole car of tapes… I really wish to thank this two friends for the interest they had from the beginning and all the suffering to make it become true (countless mosquitoe bites, heat , flooded studio wich could kill us if we insisted using electricity…)
我不太喜欢听这种话：喔成都。。。熊猫，火锅，懒，麻将，辣椒，因为对我来说这些会给别人一个有限的角度，也会忽略最有意思的细节，最有意思的点。
但这个MV里我把套路混在chaos里面.
I don’t like much hearing : Oh !!! Chengdu : Panda-Huoguo-lazy-mahjong-spicy because for me, these sentences give a cliché image of the town and avoid the essential and the more interesting points…
So in this MV I melted these clichés into chaos
我的成都离这些套路很远，我觉得成都是一个很有现代文化的地方，有很多很努力，很有趣的年轻人坚持创建文化生活，有意思的电子音乐团队，你想象不到的本地菜，人民公园跳舞的老人，一些准备拆掉的又灰又老的小区，有特色的俱乐部，酒吧。。。
很多人会边笑边说：成都慢慢生活，但如果他们很认真想一下，肯定慢慢生活是对的。快快生活就是一个末路。但fuck...成都生活速度已经开始变快了。
Apart from clichés, Chengdu is more like a cultural town with energetic courageous young people building an amazing cultural life, interesting electronic music makers , local dishes you never heard about, old gays dancing in people’s park, zhe er gen, dusty old-fashioned areas ready to fade away, strange-interesting clubs and bars…
People use to say about chengdu with a smile in the corner of their lips « man man shenghuo » like it is a bit wrong to slow down a bit life’s rhythm but if u think about it the « kuai kuai shenghuo »way of life and you compare then it become obvious for everyone wich one is the right one…
我只想说，如果你有想来成都旅游的朋友，就给他看这个MV吧，并跟他说：Welcome to Chengdu !!
I just want to say that if you have a friend who want to visit Chengdu, give him this video to watch : it contents more or less everything….And at the end you just say : Welcome to Chengdu !!
有很多成都本地有才华的人出现在这个MV：音乐人，声音工作者，舞者，火锅店老板等。
我想感谢所有出现在这个MV的人和宠物：阿星，张洋，李肆，响，粥粥，春崎，Miko，Maria, Yu, Eddie，小王，刘楠，谭庚的女儿，王春林，陈征，张小饼，袁雨丰，墩子，冉为，老庞，狼人，谭孝华，杨越，伟伟，Morning house后面的一个很热情农民，无数路人，一只叫橡皮的猫，一只叫飞机的猫，一只叫咖啡的狗。
