高空间分辨率和高时间分辨率是遥感图像不可兼得的一对矛盾, 时空融合技术将高时间分辨率、低空间分辨率的数据和高空间分辨率、低时间分辨率的数据融合, 得到高时空分辨率的图像. Li等人的评述“Spatio-temporal fusion for remote sensing data: an overview and new benchmark"提供了一组标准数据集, 并回顾了该领域的部分代表性技术, 对比了它们在标准数据集上的性能.
