泰森被禁，美国肉类加工厂成疫情重灾区！特朗普曾强令工厂开工

据海关总署消息，自6月21日起暂停美国泰森（Tyson)公司注册号为P5842的禽肉屠宰企业产品输华。

美国泰森（Tyson)公司证实，该公司注册号为P5842的禽肉屠宰企业近日发生员工新冠肺炎聚集性感染。海关总署已更新《符合评估要求的国家或地区输华肉类产品名单》，暂停来自该企业的产品进口。对于已到港或即将到港的来自上述企业的产品，海关部门全部予以暂扣。

旗下多家工厂发生大规模感染

据美国国家公共广播电台(NPR)报道，泰森食品（Tyson Foods）证实该公告与其阿肯色州斯普林代尔贝里街的工厂有关。

Tyson Foods confirmed to NPR that the announcement pertains to its Berry Street facility in Springdale, Ark.

该公司称，对其设在阿肯色州西北部的工厂检测结果显示，有481名员工呈阳性，占全部3748名员工的13%。公司表示其中有455人（占确诊总数95%）没有任何症状。

The company said that tests of its facilities in northwest Arkansas showed that 481 employees, or 13% of 3,748 employees, had tested positive. The company said 455 of those employees (95%) were asymptomatic.

事实上，今年4月—5月，美国泰森食品就已因员工被确诊感染新冠病毒而临时关闭旗下多家肉类加工厂。

据美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）5月22日报道，泰森食品旗下位于北卡罗来纳州的威尔克斯博罗（Wilkesboro）家禽养殖场，有570名员工新冠病毒检测呈阳性，感染人数占总员工人数的1/4。

Of the 2,200 employees at Tyson Foods' Wilkesboro, North Carolina, poultry facility, 570 employees tested positive or Covid-19. That's a quarter of the staff.

四月，公司曾关停了一家位于爱荷华州哥伦布交界处的猪肉厂，该厂此前有超过20名员工新冠病毒检测为阳性。

In April, the company halted operations at a Columbus Junction, Iowa pork plant after more than two dozen workers tested positive for the coronavirus.

CNN称，由于疫情的爆发，该公司不得不在不同时期分别关闭了多家工厂。而在最近复工的爱荷华州滑铁卢市泰森猪肉加工厂，又有1000多名员工检测结果呈阳性。

The company has had to shut down more than half a dozen plants for various periods of time due to outbreaks. More than 1,000 of the employees at the recently reopened Tyson pork processing plant in Waterloo, Iowa, tested positive for the virus.

员工：生病了也被要求上班

除了泰森公司，近期美国有多家肉类产品工厂出现大量工人感染新冠病毒的事件。

美国史密斯菲尔德公司在南达科塔州的工厂掌握着美国5%的猪肉生产，据NPR 4月的报道，该厂已成为新冠病毒感染的热点地区，783名工人被检测出病毒阳性，其中两人死亡。3月24日，第一个工人被检测出病毒呈阳性，但工厂直到4月14日才关闭。

Smithfield's South Dakota plant, which handles 5% of U.S. pork production, has become a coronavirus hot spot, with 783 workers testing positive for the virus so far and two of them dying. The first worker there tested positive for the virus on March 24, but the plant was not closed until April 14.

据《今日美国》和中西部调查报道中心的数据，全美至少有2万起冠状病毒病例与肉类加工厂有关。还有至少73名工人死亡。

According to USA TODAY and the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting, there have been at least 20,000 coronavirus cases linked to meatpacking plants across the country. There also have been at least 73 worker deaths.

为何肉类加工厂成传染高发地？

《华盛顿邮报》4月底的一份调查发现，美国最大的三家肉类加工商（Tyson Foods, JBS USA and Smithfield Foods）未能为员工提供防护设备，有些员工表示，他们即使生病也被要求继续在拥挤的工厂里上班，在新冠病毒蔓延全国的情况下，这样的举措导致这些工厂变成了传染高发地。

Three of the nation's largest meat processors failed to provide protective gear to all workers, and some employees say they were told to continue working in crowded plants even while sick as the coronavirus spread around the country and turned the facilities into infection hot spots, a Washington Post investigation has found.

在爱荷华州的泰森猪肉厂，当地官员和工人说，一些员工用大手帕和睡衣作为口罩，而其他人则根本不戴口罩。

At a Tyson pork plant in Iowa, local officials and workers said that some employees were using bandannas and sleep eyewear as facial coverings, while others wore no facial coverings at all.

At a JBS beef processing plant in Colorado, employees claimed that managers encouraged them to report for shifts even when they appeared sick, according to workers and a letter from county health officials to the company reviewed by The Post.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Tuesday compelling companies like Tyson to reopen the shuttered plants amid growing fears of breaks in the food supply chain and shortages of household staples chicken, pork and beef.

泰森在华公司称现售禽肉不相关

目前，在泰森食品天猫、京东等官方旗舰店，可以看到其已在首页发出声明称，目前在中国所售冷冻鸡肉及鸡肉加工制品，原料均为国内生产加工。
