Epic MegaGrants计划发放资金达1300万美元
“我们通过Epic MegaGrants计划，为开发者和工具创作者提供了力度空前的支持，帮助有实力的团队和个人轻松实现美术和技术目标。”Epic Games虚幻引擎总经理Marc Petit表示。
Epic MegaGrants计划为广义上致力于推动3D图形领域的创意和技术进步的个人和组织提供从5000到500000美金不等的资助。在今年的早些时候，Epic曾宣布将为免费开源3D创作工具套件Blender提供为期3年，总额高达120万美元的经济支持。这也是该计划有史以来最大的单笔资助。
自从2019年3月启动以来，Epic MegaGrants计划始终致力于帮助游戏开发者、企业专家、媒体与娱乐创作者、学生、教育者及工具开发者用虚幻引擎创作出优秀作品，或壮大3D图形领域的开源力量。
在这些获奖名单中，也不乏来自中国的团队。除了《无尽灵魂》之外，Void Dimensions开发的《Light Tracer 2》、UltizeroGames开发的《Lost Soul Aside》以及北京心流互动的《盘古计划》也获得了MegaGrants的奖金资助。
