In this practice, Jess will skillfully combines nature element meditation with yoga asanas to bring you an unforgettable experience. This practice will focus on the Ether Element, includes 60 minutes of restorative Yin yoga and 15 minutes of meditation to reconnect us with nature and everything around us with a mindful perspective. At the same time, Jess will guide you to experience different yoga pranayama (breathing techniques) with asana and meditation practice to reach deeper physical and mental awareness.

在课程中,Jess 老师巧妙地将该课程与瑜伽体式相结合,以期给你带来全新的主题体验。而本周的课程作为开篇之作,主打“空元素”,具体包含了60分钟的修复性阴瑜伽练习和15分钟的冥想,以正念的视角重新建立我们与大自然和万物的联结。同时也将教授不同的瑜伽调息术,帮助初学者把呼吸与体式冥想相结合,获得更深的体悟与身心觉察。

Ayurvedic and Hindu philosophy hold that the world is made up of five core elements, Pancha Bhoota -- water, fire, air, ether and earth. Different elements correspond to different physical and mental responses, and also with different Yin yoga asanas and guided meditation practice, will bring you an unprecedented unique experience.

As the first in a series of "Meditation on the Ether Element," this element is one of nature's most subtle beings. It is vast, light and free. It is the source of all matter and contains the space in which everything in the world exists. It allows growth and change to happen. It's the space between your cells, your breath, and your thoughts.

作为系列课程的第一期「空元素冥想」,这个元素是自然界中最微妙的存在。它是广阔的,轻盈且自由的。它是所有物质的来源,并容纳世间万物所存在的空间。它允许增长和改变发生。它是你的细胞、呼吸和思想之间的空间。
Mental stress often lurks in the body's muscle memory. Especially long-term desk work and the use of electronic products of the urban citizens, shoulder neck and spinal imbalance, often can cause chest humpback, muscle stiffness, pain and sub-health.

精神的压力通常会潜藏在身体的肌肉记忆中。尤其是长期伏案和使用电子产品的都市人群,因为肩颈和脊柱的体态失衡,常常会造成含胸驼背、肌肉僵硬、疼痛和亚健康。
Such body postures also further affect our self-expression, affecting confidence and emotional well-being. This practice focuses on stretching of the spine, shoulder and neck through the medium of the ether element, helping you to remove the stress you accumulate in daily life and experience inner relaxation again.

这样的身体姿态也会进一步影响我们的自我表达,影响自信和情绪健康。而本课程以空元素为媒介,专注脊柱和肩颈的拉伸,助你卸下平时积累的压力,重新体会内在的放松。
Throughout the practice, you will learn how to sense inner space through breathing and asanas, and create new space for deep connective tissues such as fascia, muscles and joints through static, healing stretches of the body, allowing energy to flow smoothly and calm the body and mind.

在课程全程,你将体会如何借助呼吸和体式来感知内在空间,并通过静态疗愈的身体拉伸,为筋膜层、肌肉和关节等深层结缔组织创造新的空间,使得能量流动无阻,扩展身心。
In contrast to the Yang yoga practice, Yin yoga emphasizes on still floor-based asanas, which strengthen joint and tissues through slow and passive holding for long periods of time, something most other yoga practices often overlook or even fail to do.

而相比阳性瑜伽练习,阴瑜伽强调在静止地板上的体式练习,通过缓慢而被动的长时间保持来加强和关节组织的强度,这是其他大多数瑜伽练习经常忽视,甚至无法做到的。
Yin yoga can greatly promote energy flow and improve energy circulation. Through regular Yin yoga practice, deep energy blocks will be unblocked, especially in the joints. When a person's energy flow is unimpeded, he or she is more likely to be in a state of peace and contentment. This is also why many Yin yoga practitioners believe after practice that they feel a deep parasympathetic nervous system response, marked by sustained deep relaxation.

阴瑜伽可以极大地促进能量流动和改善能量循环,通过规律的阴瑜伽练习,深层的能量阻塞将得以疏通,尤其是在关节的位置。而当一个人的能量循环是畅通无阻的时候,TA 也更能呈现出一种平静和知足的状态。这也是为什么很多阴瑜伽练习者在练习后认为,他们会感到深层的副交感神经系统的反应,以持续的深度放松为标志。
