汉字的秘密
Chinese is often quoted as being the most difficult language to learn on the planet. Much of this is due to the difficulty in remembering Chinese characters (3-4,000 in common use). While learning to speak a few phrases is relatively easy.
What makes the Chinese language particularly fascinating is its written form. Chinese characters are the only pictorial written form in modern use. They are rich in symbolism and many have stories behind them.
Chinese characters are especially beautiful when “penned” with a brush in the traditional way. Chinese Writing or Chinese calligraphy is a highly regarded art form.

shān【删】：Delete
册+刀=删
cè册：用绳线编扎的简札bamboo book.
dāo刀：knife.
【删】：表示割断串绳，除去部分竹简或札片。To cut rope, remove part of the bamboo slips .
so 删 means delete.
Useful words:删除shān chú（to delete）；删改shān gǎi（bowdlerize）

hún魂
hún【魂】：The soul
云+鬼=魂
yún云：空中流动、变幻的气流。cloud.
guǐ鬼：支配心灵的神秘能量。The ghost.
【魂】：比喻人的流动、变幻的神秘能量，为生命最重要的元素，统领精神。
To express the flow of people, changes of mystical energy, for the most important elements of life, and over the spirit.
so 魂 means the soul.
Useful words:灵魂líng hún（the soul）；魂不守舍hún bù shǒu shè（emotional）

bì【避】：escape
辶+辟=避
zǒu走：夭+止=走，一个人摆臂奔跑walk；run.
bì辟：人+辛（刑具）=辟，表示行刑杀人 kill person with instruments of torture.
【避】：表示为躲死难而逃亡。To avoid the dead and fled.
so 避 means escape
Useful words:逃避táo bì（to escape）；避免bìmiǎn（to avoid）

gǔ骨
gǔ【骨】：bone
冎+月=骨
guǎ冎：把身体割成许多块 Cut the body into many pieces.
ròu肉：“月字旁”通常表示的是“肉”而不是“月”Chinese character component “月”usually represents the "meat" instead of "moon".
【骨】：与肌肉、筋脉组织相连的保护性支架。
Connected to the muscles, channels by the organization's protective stent.
so 骨 means bone.
Useful words:骨头gǔ tou（bone）；风骨fēng gǔ（refers to people's spirit and character）
rén人

sè色
sè【色】：porn；color;
人+巴=色
rén人：站着的人 a stand person.
bā巴：跪着的人a kneeling person.
【色】表示一人在上、一人在下的性活动含义。
One above and one below to express sexual activity.
so 色 means porn.
Words:色情sèqíng；好色hàosè
