石佳韵1992年出生于中国重庆，2014年本科毕业于四川美术学院（Sichuan Fine Arts Institute）油画系，2019年于纽约视觉艺术学院（School of Visual Arts New York）取得硕士学位，现工作生活与纽约与厦门。石佳韵在光晕变化间，用画笔标注了现实事物倚赖视觉再现的分歧与多义性。作品主题多变且建立在不确定性之上，常以图像、物体或想象为起点进行创作。艺术家以笔触克制且极度内省的绘画方式，描绘在个人实际经验之上的感受。深植于作品中的迫切冲动——一种解放的宣言，一种对情绪持续调节、控制并批判的抽象过程，这样的冲动，也完整体现于其作品抛弃任何概念或叙事，最终呈现单纯的点、线、面结构交织的画面效果上。

展览现场 | 隔岸观火 Watch the Fire from the ShoreLINSEED Projects @ Design Republic2021年11月10日 - 2022年01月09日Shi Jiayun was born in 1992 in Chongqing. She graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2014, later at School of Visual Arts New York, she received her Master’s degree in 2019. She now lives and works in New York and Xiamen. Through the variant of lights and shades, Shi’s work marks the diversion and diversification of painted images in illusionary representational reality. Regardless of the uncertainty of her ever-changing subjects, such as images, objects, or pure imagination, she delivers in a sensible and introverted way in relation to forms beyond her immediate experiences. The most intriguing part imbedded in her work is an imminent impulsion, which manifests a sense of liberation while constituting a constant process of emotion adjustments, control, and judgment. Such impulsion is presented by the abandonment of narrative, only abstract demonstrations of various combinations of points, lines and planes.
