MAU MAU

热爱煎饼，乒乓球的美国大男孩 Mau Mau。从 disco、house 到带着灵魂的 techno 及韧性十足的 funk，这些音乐都能足以令舞池中的人们为之疯狂。现如今，他任职于上海新晋地下音乐空间站 Elevator 的音乐总监。从2005年开启他的音乐生涯开始，Mau Mau 一开始美国地下一些俱乐部放 Hiphop 音乐。2008年搬到上海之后，成立了 Baijiu Robot, TICT 等上海地下派对组织，现在与 Laura Ingalls 和 MIIIA 一同创立了上海著名地下厂牌Co:Motion。在 Mau Mau 成为 Elevator 的音乐总监前，他为上海近几年的地下夜生活组织了无数怪异的派对，并因此声名大噪。从 Shelter, Arkham, Lola 再到 Dada，到处都留下了他的身影。

Mau Mau enjoys pancakes, ping pong, and searching for timeless music that makes people do terrible things on the dancefloor – disco, house and techno with grit and funk.  Since moving to Shanghai in 2008, he's founded crews like Baijiu Robot, TICT, and local label Co:Motion together with MIIIA and Laura Ingalls.  Through the years he's organized rooftop and warehouse parties, plus club nights at Shelter, Arkham, Lola and Dada before finding a home as music director of Elevator. He's supported artists like San Proper, DJ Dustin, Tim Sweeney, TM404, Solar, Samo DJ, TEED and more.
