VIVA Event | February - Women in Sports: Panel Discussion
After Rafael Nadal won his 21st Grand Slam, the media was flooded with articles about the impressive feat, with titles like "Nobody has won 21 Grand Slams in the history of tennis" or "Rafa Nadal becomes the first tennis player to win 21 majors after winning the Australian Open".
Except...
"...Small reminder:
Steffi Graf: 22 Majors.
Serena Williams 23 Majors.
Margaret Court: 24 Majors.
Female success isn't worth less than male."
- Daniel Heithorn
Women in sports face many challenges, from unequal treatment/recognition (like above), menstruation, expectations around motherhood, and more.
As we celebrate the 2022 Beijing Olympics this month, Viva is excited to bring together strong women in sports & fitness to discuss their experiences, the challenges they have faced, and how they have overcome them and turned them into strengths.
Join us on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 for this empowering event!
