The site is often compared by visitors with the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Nevertheless, its mountains are much steeper than those along the Yangtze River. The landscape also resembles the Li River in Guilin, but the water here is much clearer.

You will discover attractions: bungee jumping, summer tobogganing, zipline … But that does not alter the serenity of this majestic place.

Once on the site, you can either walk a good half hour, taking stairs, to reach a promontory with a magnificent view, or walk directly into a small temple and enjoy the picnic places.

 Meet your trip mates and enjoy one of the most famous scenic spots in Beijing suburbs.

Meet at the meeting points(meeting time shown below) at in the morning. Leave for Longqing Gorge(3h) and arrive at 11:00am. You may cruise the gorge, Go bungee jumping or go zipline，take cool pictures or choose some entertainments there until 4:50pm,and then go back.(The specific gathering time will be arranged by the team leader)

About the area：

Longqing Gorge is located at the mouth of the Yanqing Old City River, in the northeast of Yanqing County. It is 53 miles (85 kilometers) from Beijing City. The scenic spot is famous for its gorge. Visitors compare the scenery of the gorge to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, but its mountains are much steeper than those along the Yangtze. The scenery also resembles the Li River in Guilin, but the water here is much clearer.

 Things to Do：

When you arrive at Longqing Gorge, the first thing you will see is the Longqing Dam. The 230-foot-high (70-meter-high) dam is inset between hills. Looking to the north side from the dam, the picturesque scenery of hills and white clouds reflected in deep green water can be appreciated.

Getting down from the dam, you have to enjoy the river and hills by cruise. Every turn around a hill in the river will surprise you because of the new view. The scenery here combines the charm of rivers in southern China and the magnificence of mountains in northern China, which will give you a deep impression. Along the river you will see the heavily forested steep cliffs and the bare limestone in different fantastic shapes, eroded by the natural power of water. To some extent, it is much like Li River. Many of these rocks and hills have their own names, such as: Comb Hill, Immortal Taoist Temple, Flowers Cave and Jingang Temple.

The most important spot that you must have a look is the Comb Hill, also known as Solitary Beauty Peak, which is 230 feet (about 70 meters) high and surrounded by water. It is the landmark in Longqing Go

Flowers Cave is another must-see spot of Longqing Gorge, which covers 0.74 acre (3,000 square meters). There are more than 1,650 kinds of artificial trees and flowers decorated with birds and other animals in the cave. The flowers in the cave are divided into several themes like: Blooming Flowers and Northern Scenery, which will, of course, leave a deep impression for visitors.

After enjoying the beautiful natural scenery on cruise, there are many other activities. Bungee jumping from a hill, taking cableway to appreciate the blue sky and the clean water, or boating by yourself on the river are some good choices. However, these items are charged independently for different prices.

Entertainment Activities to Do：

There are quite a few exciting entertainment projects for tourists to have fun in Longqing Gorge, including taking a cruise to see the view around the reservoir, taking flying rope, doing bungee jumping, etc.. The projects need the courage to meet the challenge.

【Taking a Cruise】
Taking a cruise would be an easy and relaxing way to enjoy the beautiful scenery around the gorge. You will see ruins of Jingang Temple, Jiangjun Cliff (The General Cliff), Cockscomb Islet,

【Taking Flying Rope】
Taking Flying Rope is a kind way to cross mountains, mountain streams or rivers by pulley and slide in mountaineering expeditions. The project is built between two cliffs in Longqing Gorge. It is 200 meters long. The main equipments were all imported, safe and reliable. You would have a feel of flying in the sky when you take it.

【Bungee Jumping】
Bungee Jumping is another challenging sports. The platform for Bungee Jumping is built on a cliff near Jingang Temple, with a height of 48 meters. It is are highly secure. Why not take a challenge?

There are also other exciting projects available, such as rock climbing, slide, ice climbing, skydiving, etc. If you are an extreme sports enthusiast, you must love this place.

①For One-day Tour:
• 24h prior to start date - we will refund fees paid

• 24h within the start date - no refunds will be issued.

②For Long-term activities for two days or more

• 7 days prior to start date — we will refund fees paid

• 5 days prior to start date — we will refund 50% of the total trip fee, or 100% of fees paid can be transferred to a future trip.

• Less than 5 days— no refunds will be issued.

Please let us know immediately if your plans change!

Due to the particularity of some tourist resources which need to be booked in advance and cause actual losses, the specific losses include but are not limited to train tickets, air tickets, hotels, etc. If tourists need to cancel their orders, they should contact FCN in time to assist tourists in reducing losses and refund other losses that have not actually occurred in accordance with the principle of refund.
