DOCTOR: Can I see him please, Mrs. Williams?
MRS. WILLIAMAS:Certainly, doctor. Come upstairs.
DOCTOR:You look very well, Jimmy. You are better now, but you mustn't get up yet.You must stay in bed for another two days.
DOCTOR:The boy mustn't go to school yet, Mrs Williams. And he mustn't eat richfood.
Mrs Williams: Does he have a temperature, doctor?
Doctor:No, he doesn’t.
MRS WILLIAMS:Must he stay in bed?
DOCTOR:Yes. He must remain in bed for another two days. He can get up for abouttwo hours each day, but you must keep the room warm.
DOCTOR:Where's Mr Williams this evening?
MRS WILLIAMS:He's in bed, doctor. Can you see him, please? He has a bad cold, too!

新概念一Lesson 63-64
一、课文详注
The children are playing with a toy car in the garden. 孩子们正在花园玩一辆玩具汽车。
noise是抽象名词。抽象名词是不可数的，前面加不定冠词a并不意味1、2、3、4等数目，只是赋予那个名词具体的含义，如一次、一种、一例、一番等。又如：
have a rest 休息一下
take a look at…看一眼……
3．lean out of the window, 把身子探出窗外。
out of是介词短语，与 in或 into相对，表示“离开”、“脱离”。
二、重要句型或语法
[禁令]don't与mustn't都可用来表示禁令。用mustn't表示“禁止”或“不许可”，语气比较强烈。
1)must表必须，如：You must stay in bed. / Must he stay in bed?
2)can表许可，如：Can I see him please, Mrs. Williams? / He can get up for about two hours each day.
英语里持续系动词主要有：stay、remain、keep等，表示状态的持续，如：You must stay in bed for another two days. / He must remain in bed for another two days. / Please keep quiet.
三、课文主要语言点
How's Jimmy today? Better. Thank you, doctor.
How's sb.?，用来询问某人的身体状况。better为good/well的比较级，但因为本课尚未开始学习比较关系，所以只要告诉学生better表示更好的意思即可。
Can I see him please, Mrs. Williams?
can作为情态动词，主要有三种意思：1)能够，表能力;2)可以，表许可;3)可能，表猜测。本课主要用来表许可。
certainly用来表示肯定或同意，相当于of course。
upstairs由up和stairs组成，表示楼上。楼下用downstairs表示。
well在此用作形容词，表示身体好的。
You are better now, but you must'nt get up yet.
not...yet，表示仍然不。mustn't是must的否定形式之一，表示禁止、不能;must还有一种否定形式为needn't或don't have to，表示不必。
rich常用来表示富裕的、富有的，但在课文里表示油腻的。
Does he have a temperature, doctor?
可复习一下第62课里的各种得病的表达。
...but you must keep the room warm.
keep+宾语+补语，表示保持....怎么样。
可对比in bed(因病等卧床不起)和in the bed(在床上)的区别。
四、词汇学习
keep the room warm. 使房间保持温暖。
keep the fire burning. 不要让火熄灭了。
he would not be able to keep his job. 他恐怕保不住他那份工作了。
if you like it, just keep it. 你如果喜欢的话，那把它留下来吧。
please keep this secret. 请保守这一秘密。
would you keep my things for me while i'm away? 在我离开的这段时间里，你能为我保管一下东西吗？
you'd better remain at home. 你最好留在家里。
we're going to remain in rome for another two days. 我们准备再在罗马逗留两天。
it will remain cold for a couple of days. 天气还将持续冷几天。
most people remained silent at the meeting. 多数人在会上保持沉默。
