Samuel L. Jackson rolled into Beijing last week to promote his new movie Kong: Skull Island, along with co-stars Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston and Jing Tian.

The Snakes on a Plane star snapped various pictures of his Beijing odssey and shared them on Instagram with his fans. He also live-tweeted his trip.

Along the way, Jackson complained about the horrid air quality, writing "The air quality is a lil' questionable."

Like any tourist visiting Beijing, Jackson took in not only the sights but also the delectable cuisine. His fans feasted their eyes on several pictures Jackson took of the dishes he savored. First, he had to try out the Kung Pao Chicken, because you know, it's what you get in a Chinese restaurant.

Then there was the duck liver, which Jackson heard was "dope."

Jackson also posted pictures of duck breast, "Squirrel Style Fish! Whooooo!," and "Chinese Style Kobe Beef With Szechuan Pepper Sauce" to which he exclaimed "YEAH!!!"

There's also yet another partial-selfie of him "Sneaking around Tiananmen Square!" as if the whole place was off limits.

Before leaving Beijing for Tokyo, Jackson just had to post one more picture of the Beijing sky: "Air quality questions.... just sayin!" (But just what are you saying, Samuel?)

This is not the first time Jackson has come to Beijing and complained about the air. In March 2014, Jackson also traveled to Beijing to promote Captain America: The Winter Soldier with Scarlett Johansson. During that trip, Jackson also snapped pictures of the sky to indicate the higher than normal AQI levels.
