These Photoshopped CNY Movie Posters Are Hilarious

China's annual Spring Festival travel rush is officially here, as the 40-day-long chunyun period, the world's largest annual human migration, kicked off last week.

Ahead of the holiday, one Weibo netizen has photoshopped Hollywood blockbuster movie posters and given them a special Chinese New Year twist.

See Tom Cruise, Jason Bourne and the Hobbits make their incredible CNY journeys home with these hilarious posters.


Mission Impossible: Chunyun Special


The "Crowdables" (a play on The Expendables)


"The queue's heavy shadow," a play on the Chinese title for the Jason Bourne series, translated to "Heavy Shadow" in Chinese


"The Seat Grabbing Alliance," a Spring Festival version of the title for The Avengers, which translates to "The Revenge Alliance" in Chinese

Mad Max: The Journey Home


The Hobbit: The Chunyun Journey


“This waiting room is not too cold," a CNY-ified version of the Chinese title for Leon: The Professional, which is translated as "This Killer is Not Too Cold"
