Apr 7: Juan Carmona Quartet
In the past 15 years, French guitarist Juan Carmona has received four Grammy nominations for Best Flamenco Album. So clearly he's doing something right. The accomplished musician will be landing in Beijing on Friday where he'll perform songs off his latest album Perla de Oriente.

Apr 8: Nocturnes Showcase
Local indie promotions group Cao Tai Music is hosting a showcase for the genre-bending band Nocturnes. Hailing from South Africa, electro dance group Anxt will support.

Apr 8: Liu Donghong & The Sand Unplugged Concert
Liu Donghong & The Sand have a whole new arrangement and they'll be showing it off with a special unplugged show on Saturday.

Apr 8: Mark Levine and Fu Han's Inside Out
Expat musician Mark Levine and traditional Chinese instrumentalist Fu Han will be performing their one-of-a-kind song and story set at The Bookworm on Saturday. Expect plenty of American folk tunes, traditional Chinese music and entertaining stories.

Apr 8: The Hunters + 4 Channels Club
Beijing favorite The Hunters will be bringing their signature covers to DDC. Songs will run the gamut from funk to rock to contemporary hits. 4 Channels Club will open with a super-unique, Gameboy-inpired set.

Apr 8: Beast Reigns the East
Yugong Yishan is hosting a night full of Chinese heavy metal. Dream Spirit, Mysterain, Deep Mountains, Suld, VirusBase and Xing Yuan Gu will all take the stage.

Apr 9: M2B Beijing-New York
Sculpture-performance piece M2B is celebrating its sixth year... well actually the French artist behind the piece is doing the celebrating with a night of music and film. Niko de La Faye will be screening a few of his films, which he shot in China and the US, while musicians improvise with some tunes.

Apr 9: Duo Antwerp (Marimba and Bass Clarinet)
Duo Antwerp is comprised of Adilia Yip (marimba) and Daniel Belloví (bass clarinet). The duo are known for performing their signature takes on contemporary composers and classical arrangements.
