Vineyard Cafe Has Closed

2017-04-15 ThatsBeijing

Wudaoying Hutong institution Vineyard Café has closed its doors on April 13, after more than a decade of operation.

In a post published to its WeChat account on April 12, the venue announced its plans to close:

"We are sad to announce that [on April 13] the Vineyard Café at 31 Wu Dao Ying Hutong [is closing]... It has been 11 years since Vineyard Café opened its doors in an unknown hutong near [Lama Temple], and it has been an unforgettable time filled with invaluable memories. We would like to say a massive thank you to all the people who made it so special. You know who you are. We wish the landlord’s son every success with 'YongHe Yard.'"

But fret not, this isn't the end of Vineyard Café. The group plans to open a delivery kitchen that will run out of Chaowai Soho sometime in the near future. Expect a new menu with healthy dishes, vegan food, gluten-sensitive items, fusion, weekend brunch, kid-friendly options and more. They'll also be offering cocktails, wine and Arrow Factory Beer.
