May 11: DJ Marky
Drum ‘n’ bass may have originated in the UK, but Brazilian producers have made a real mark on the scene. A leading figure among them, DJ Marky has spent the last 25 years fusing energetic beats with the feel-good sounds of his home country. His tune ‘LK’ remains a undisputed genre classic. And in keeping with the Latin flavor, support comes from DJ Dubatonik who’ll play an all-vinyl Mexican funk set.

May 12: Jesse Rose
If you haven’t heard of Jesse Rose it’s a shame. The legendary producer and DJ has enjoyed a two-decade career, released hundreds of house music hits on labels like Get Physical and Dubsided, and performed at legendary venues like Fabric in London and Panorama Bar in Berlin. Yet despite his wild success, the British DJ announced last year that he would be calling it quits on his music career in 2017. But not before setting out on one final tour for his latest (and last) album Alright Mate, which was released earlier this year. So if you’re bummed to see Jesse Rose leave the scene, you can catch him one last time right here in Beijing. He'll be stopping of at Migas on Friday May 12 as part of his final tour.

May 12: Boiler Room @ Lantern
Boiler Room is back at Lantern this weekend. A whole crew of French producers will be on the scene to help celebrate France's TRAX magazine. Artists include Bonnie Banane, Neue Grafik and Simo Cell. Weng Weng will take over at 1am to keep things going until the wee hours.

May 12: Acid Arab
Acid Arab is coming to Beijing all the way from Paris. The duo are known for mixing some pretty cool eastern music. Their sound is an amalgamation of electronic dance music, North African, Lebanese, Egyptian and Indian music. Support comes from support from Gilles Peterson, Lovefingers, TLR, Skudge, Tim Sweeney and Radio Nova.

May 13: Palms LA @ Ramo Party
This
is pretty much the way to celebrate the warm weather we've been having
lately. Ramo and Palms LA are joining forces to throw a
California-themed summer party this weekend. There will be sweet
California tunes, and you should make sure to don best your beach
attire. Food and drinks will be provided by Palms. Expect pizza tacos
and lots of citrusy cocktails.
