Party Down at Centro with Latest Live Band Stank Sauce

Get down and dirty at Centro this weekend as the bar’s latest band Stank Sauce all the way from Florida takes the stage.

They had us at the name but for more information, read on. Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida,Stank Sauce are a seven-piece band led by saxophonist and vocalist Jawren Walton. Having performed together for the past six years the group is full of experience and passion, whose goal is to “make great music for the world.”

What kind of music? Expect the sweet sounds of jazz, blues, funk, reggae, pop, hip-hop and rock – so basically, a big-old mix that should satisfy even the most discerning ear.

In addition to Walton, Stank Sauce’s other band members are accomplished performers or multi-hyphenates. There’s Jawayne Walton: emcee, poet, visual artist and vocalist. Vocalist LyndsieVarlin has been singing since she was six years old. Eric Ibarra is a skilled guitarist who’s shared the stage with Jason Derulo. Jaren Walker has featured internationally as a solo artist. Terrell Johnson has been in love with the drums since he was five months old and Robert Bidwell is a professional trumpet player.

But, enough chat – the music speaks for itself. Thankfully there’s plenty of opportunity to listen, as Stank Sauce will be performing every night at Centro (both favorites and new tunes).
