By Mehaa Shah
A helicopter crash-landed in a small village in Beijing on Monday morning, leaving all four people aboard injured, as reported by China Daily. Thankfully, none of the injuries were serious.
The accident took place at around 11 am in a parking lot in Naidong, a village in Beijing’s Chaoyang district. Police say the crash was due to a mechanical failure while from one airport to another.
Video clips show the helicopter losing control midair and crash-landing, damaging an unoccupied sedan in the process.

Sources with knowledge of the accident report that the pilot executed an emergency landing away from residential buildings right after experiencing mechanical malfunctions. Wu Peixin, an aviation industry observer in Beijing offered his input into the accident. "It seems to me that the pilot handled the emergency rather well, because the helicopter didn't crash too violently."
However, an investigation is still being conducted by Reignwood Aviation-the owner of the aircraft- to determine the real cause of the accident.
