马斯金教授是世界最知名的经济学家之一，是哈佛大学最高级别教授——哈佛大学校级教授，还是美国国家科学院院士，美国艺术与科学院院士，英国科学院院士，以及知名期刊《经济学季刊》、《经济学快报》、《经济理论专论》的编辑，在政治经济学、博弈论、契约论、社会选择论等方面为世界做出了突出贡献。2007年，马斯金教授凭借在机制设计理论方面的成就荣获诺贝尔经济学奖，运用博弈论的特殊形式，为使市场中所有各方最大化收益做出贡献。他获得的主要奖项还有：肯佩环境经济学奖、EFR商业周奖、马赛和图卢兹两个城市的梅达耶大赛、哈佛大学百年纪念章、克里斯托瓦尔·加巴隆基金会国际奖经济学、路易丝·布劳因基金会奖、让·雅克·拉夫芳奖、詹姆斯·乔伊斯奖等。

卡德维尔教授是370多篇论文和专利的作者，欧洲应用超导协会的创办成员和5个国际学术期刊的董事会成员。由于在超导体材料工程应用研发上的突破性贡献，教授于2012年被授予英国皇家工程院院士的荣誉称号。卡德维尔教授自2003年起就开始进行招生工作，十几年来亲自面试了3000多名学生，同时也积极参与剑桥大学事务。教授从2007年到2013年担任研究生项目主任，2014年被任命为工程学院院长。教授曾经作为研究生研究委员会主席，建立并领导剑桥大学技术研究生院，并在剑桥大学的多个院系任职。

巴里什教授是世界最伟大的科学家之一，“引力波”之父，量子医学的划时代奠基人，美国加州理工学院荣休教授。他是引力波领域的专家，被“世界科学节”授予“站在巨人肩膀上的物理学泰斗”。2017年，“因对LIGO探测器及引力波探测的决定性贡献”而与莱纳·魏斯及基普·索恩共同获得诺贝尔物理学奖。他的远见卓识发挥了关键性领导作用，直接验证爱因斯坦对引力波的 100 年的预言，并开创了引力波天文学的新领域。巴里什教授还曾当选美国艺术与科学院、美国国家科学院、美国国家科学基金会理事会、美国物理学会以及美国科学促进会成员。他的代表性奖项还包括：克洛普斯特格奖、恩里科·费米奖、亨利·德雷伯奖章、欧洲物理学会颁发的朱塞佩与万那·科科尼奖。

Prof. Barish is one of the greatest scientists in the world, the father of "gravitational waves", the epoch-making founder of quantum medicine, and an honorary professor of California Institute of Technology. He is an expert in the field of gravitational waves, and was awarded the "Master of Physics Standing on the Shoulders of Giants" by the "World Science Festival". In 2017, he won the Nobel Prize in Physics with Rainer Weiss and Kip Thorne for his decisive contributions to the LIGO detector and gravitational wave detection. His foresight played a key leadership role, directly verifying Einstein's 100-year prediction of gravitational waves, and creating a new field of gravitational wave astronomy. Prof. Barish was also elected as a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the National Academy of Sciences, the Board of the National Science Foundation, the American Physical Society, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. In 2013, based on pioneering contributions to the transport of cell membrane vesicles, Prof. Schekman, James Rothman, and Thomas Zuderhoff won the Nobel in Physiology or Medicine. Prof. Schekman was also the recipient of the 2010 E.B. Wilson Award from the American Society for Cell Biology, the 2011 Arthur Kornberg and Paul Berger Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Otto Warberg Award from the German Society for Biochemistry. He has been actively advocating for academic journal publishing reforms and open access scientific publications, and serves as the director of the open access journal "eLife" which was jointly released by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the Max Planck Society, and the Wellcome Trust.
