第十一届京领创新人才论坛暨德胜教育二十周年·德胜学校(国际)十周年教育峰会圆满落幕!

2021年11月20日,由京领新国际主办、德胜教育承办的第十一届京领创新人才论坛暨德胜教育二十周年·德胜学校(国际)十周年教育峰会在德胜学校(国际)成功举办。


京领创新人才论坛是依托京领与来自北京大学、清华大学、剑桥大学、哈佛大学的多领域专家学者共同发起的“国际化创新性人才培养机制与国际比较研究”课题而举办的交流论坛,已在北京大学、斯坦福中国中心、人大附中、北京市八一学校等成功举办十届,相关成果相继发布在《中国教育报》、《神州学人》、《光明日报》等。


围绕“未来学校的创新人才培养”主题,第十一届京领创新人才论坛暨德胜教育二十周年·德胜学校(国际)十周年教育峰会内容覆盖世界名校创新人才培养实践、优秀国际学校创新人才与科研素养培养经验、未来创新人才培养路径等议题,旨在通过分享现实经验和研究成果,启发国际教育者们挖掘规律、探索路径,用研究指导实践,促进国际化创新性人才培养。

在论坛开幕之际,广东德胜教育集团董事长、总裁郭泽君先生为本次论坛进行了开幕致辞。郭泽君先生探讨了创新对于国家、社会的重要意义,并指出:实现创新需要每一位教育工作者的共同努力,更需要每一位教育工作者拥有创新精神,学校要不断发现、鼓励老师进行创新,用优秀的人培养更优秀的人。

教育部原政策法规司司长进行开幕致辞


在本次论坛开幕之际,国家教育督学、教育部原政策法规司司长、中国教育发展战略学会执行会长孙霄兵先生为本次论坛致辞,对京领创新人才论坛给予了极大的肯定,表达了热烈祝贺,希望与会嘉宾能够畅所欲言,分享自身丰富的人才培养经验和办学成果,就“创新人才培养”主题进行深入研讨,共话我国创新人才培养。

中国教育政策研究院副院长发表主题演讲


在本届论坛中,中国教育政策研究院副院长、教授、博士生导师金志峰教授就“构建多元评价体系促进创新人才培养”主题发表了主题演讲。在演讲中,金教授指出:创新型人才培养是一个系统的工程,培养创新型人才必须从中小学教育抓起,通过开展多元化评价体系构建,能够保障和促进中小学创新人才的培养。

“多元评价内容体系构建的基础是创新型人才能力素质模型,能力素质模型又叫胜任力模型、胜任素质模型,是开展人才评价、选拔和培养的科学依据、创新人才的核心素质决定了创新人才评价的内容。进而对评价的标准、方式方法、评价工具和评价主体等提出相应的要求。


评价方式多元化要依据不同情景、引入多种评价主体,包括外部心理专家、测评专家、相关的专业机构等等,实现评价主体的多元化,形成一种多元的评价体系。”

剑桥院士解读顶尖大学人才标准


本次论坛特别邀请到了剑桥大学终身正教授、工程学院前院长、皇家工程学院院士卡德维尔教授,卡德维尔教授带来了主题为“英国剑桥大学招生标准”的演讲。


在演讲中,教授对比了中、英、美三国教育的不同之处,深度分析了剑桥大学对于人才的筛选、评价标准以及英国大学申请流程。同时,卡德维尔教授针对剑桥大学的录取标准就如何准备申请资料、面试等给予了学子们宝贵的建议。

牛津原副校长畅谈科研素质培养


本届创新人才论坛特邀牛津大学前副校长、前教务长麦肯德里克教授进行主题分享,麦肯德里克教授以“创新人才科研素质培养”为题,发表了演讲。


结合自身多年来在世界顶尖大学任教的经历,麦肯德里克教授阐述了研究型创新人才发展的三个阶段,提出只有在第一阶段充分打好基础,具备刻苦钻研能力、清楚解释问题的能力及诚实品格后,才能进入第二阶段——真正的创新阶段,从而最终进入第三阶段——创造创新产品。同时,教授还指出:世界名校往往更为看重全面发展的人才。

哈佛教授剖析美国创新人才培养


本届论坛中,哈佛大学终身正教授就“美国大学创新人才培养理念”主题发表了演讲。


教授分享了自己对于创新能力的独到见解,指出学会提出问题是创新的必备基础。结合名人案例,教授生动清晰的展示了学会提问题的关键性和必要性。


“我有一句建议要送给正接受着学校教育的你们。每次学到新知识的时候,问问自己,这些知识带来了什么问题?这些知识可以解决什么问题?学会成为创新者就要从学会提问开始。”

议题前瞻,面向未来


习近平总书记在十九大报告中明确指出,创新是引领发展的第一动力,要培养一大批具有国际水平的创新人才。国际化学校作为一支重要力量,在教育创新改革实践、教育文化国际交流、创新性人才培养中都发挥了积极的作用。


本次第十一届创新人才论坛聚焦“未来学校的创新人才培养”,这一主题正是面向现代中国与世界的人才发展,面向关键教育问题发问,期望能够通过论坛研讨进一步促进创新人才培养。


未来中国的国际化学校想要培养适应时代发展和变革的创新人才,需要借鉴世界上先进的治学办学经验来设计国际化课程,也要立足本土,解决“培养什么人、怎样培养人、为谁培养人”的问题。同时更要找到国际化教育中创新人才的培养模式,总结创新人才培养方面的成功经验。

On November 20, 2021, the 11th Innovative Talent Forum & Desheng Education 20th Anniversary·Desheng School (International) 10th Anniversary Education Summit, hosted by KingLead Beijing and organized by Desheng Education, were successfully held at Desheng School (International).


Based on the "International Innovative Talent Training Mechanism and International Comparative Research" project jointly initiated by KingLead and experts from Peking University, Tsinghua University, University of Cambridge, and Harvard University, the forum has been successfully held for ten sessions at Stanford Center (Peking University), the High School Affiliated to the Renmin University of China, Beijing Bayi High School, etc. The results have been published in the China Education Daily, China Scholars Abroad, Guangming Daily and so on.


Focusing on the theme of "Innovative Talent Development in Future Schools", the forum discussed practical issues on cultivating innovative talents in top schools, shared the experience of cultivating innovative talents and scientific literacy, and the potential path of nurturing innovative talents in the future. The forum aimed to inspire international educators to explore the methods and approaches of international education, guide the practice with research, and promote the international innovative talents training.


This forum invited special guests, including scholars and professors from Harvard University, University of Cambridge, and Oxford University, as well as school principals, leadership, and international educators from top international schools throughout China, such as WAB, Keystone academy, HFI, Harrow Shenzhen, Wellington College International Tianjin, Vanke Meisha Academy, Ulink Suzhou, Yinghua International School, etc. Representatives gathered at Desheng School (International), Guangdong, with intelligence and passion for discussing the future of education.

Xiaobing Sun, National Education Supervisor, Former Department Chief, Policy and Regulations Department, Ministry of Education, Executive Chairman, China Society of Educational Development Strategy Committee Delivered the Opening Speech addressed an opening speech. He gave great recognition to the Innovation Talent Forum and hoped that the guests could exchange their thoughts on education freely. He also shared his own experience in running schools and nurturing talents, as well as conducted a discussion on the theme of "innovative talent development".

Vice President, Doctoral Supervisor - China Education Policy Research Institute Delivered His Speech


During the forum, Zhifeng Jin, the Vice President, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor - China Education Policy Research Institute, gave a speech on "Construct a Multi-evaluation System and Facilitate the Cultivation of Innovative Talents". In the speech, Prof. Jin pointed out that cultivating innovative talents should be a systematic work, and it has to start from K-12 education. "We, educators, should establish a multi-evaluation system for ensuring and facilitating the innovative abilities of K-12 students."

"The Multi-evaluation system is based on a model of innovative abilities, which is also called the Compentence Model. This is a model for evaluating, selecting, and nurturing innovative talents. Core qualities of innovative talents determine how to evaluate students, according to which, we can set up evaluation standards and approaches, making sure the system has multiple dimensions.


When forming the Multi-evaluation system, we need to introduce a variety of evaluation subjects according to different situations, including external psychological experts, evaluation experts, related professional institutions, etc., to achieve the diversification of evaluation subjects, forming a multi-evaluation system."

National Academician from Cambridge Interpreted the Talent Standards of Top Universities


The forum invited Professor Cardwell, Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering, Full Professor, University of Cambridge Former Head, Department of Engineering, to our forum. Professor Cardwell gave a speech on "Admission Standards at the University of Cambridge".


In his speech, the professor compared the differences between Chinese, British and American education, and deeply analyzed the talent selection and evaluation criteria of Cambridge and the application process of British universities. At the same time, Professor Caldwell also gave students valuable suggestions on how to prepare application materials and interviews according to the admission standards of Cambridge.

The Former Pro-Vice Chancellor of Oxford Talked About the Cultivation of Research Literacy


The Innovative Talents Forum invited Professor McKendrick, the former Pro-Vice Chancellor and Formor Provost of University of Oxford. Professor McKendrick gave a speech on the topic of "Cultivating the Scientific Research Quality of Innovative Talents".


Combined with his many years of experience teaching at the world's top universities, Professor McKendrick expounds the three stages of research-based innovation talent development, and suggests that we have to studying hard and acquiring the ability of solving the problem at the first stage in order to move to the second stage - the real innovation stage. Eventually, we move on to the third phase - creating of innovative products. At the same time, the professor also pointed out that the world's best schools tend to value all-round students.

Professor from Harvard Dissects the Cultivation of American Innovative Talents


A full professor at Harvard University attended the forum expressed his idiosyncratic opinion on "The Concept of Cultivating Innovative Talents in American Universities".


The professor shared his unique insights into innovation, pointing out that learning to ask questions is an essential foundation for innovation. Combined with celebrity cases, the professor also vividly demonstrates the criticality and necessity of learning to ask questions.


"So one sentence I can give you as advice in school, for your education, is to practice the following every time you learn something new. Ask yourself, what question is created by that knowledge? What problem can be solved with that knowledge? And I think this is how you will learn to become good innovators, by learning how to ask questions."

A Forward-Looking View of Future Issues


In the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, President Xi clearly stated that innovation is the first driving force to lead development. It is an essential mission of China’s education to cultivate top-notch innovative talents. As a major force, international schools have played an active role in the practice of educational innovation and reform, the international exchange of education and culture, and the cultivation of innovative talents.


The 11th Innovative Talents Symposium aims at the theme of "Innovative Talent Cultivation in Future Schools", facing the development of talents cultivation in contemporary China and the world and asking questions about key education issues. We hope to further promote the cultivation of innovative talents through the forum discussion.


To cultivate innovative talents that adapt to the development and transformation of the times, the future international schools have to learn from the world’s advanced academic and educational experience to design international courses, and to solve the issues that "what, how, and for whom that talents are trained "based the situation of China.

Guangdong Shunde Desheng School was founded in 2001, formerly known as Shunde Yizhong at Desheng School-Middle School Department. Its primary school department was formerly known as Xishan Primary School. Desheng School has now formed a consistent education group, which has a one-stop system with more than 10,000 teachers and students, including kindergarten, primary school, middle school, high school, and the international department. The school also has an illustrious history of achievements, and has consistently ranked as the top school in the domestic private education industry.


Since the operation of Desheng School (International) in 2011, it has been certified as an IBDP school in 2015, and the average IBDP score ranked 14th in the country, second in Guangdong Province in 2018. While in 2019, the average score rank jumped to first place in Guangdong and received the first combined Bachelor - Master's Degree program offer from the University of Oxford. Now, by 2021, Desheng School (International) has an IBDP average score of 40.


Over the past decade, DSI has been innovating in exploration and developing in innovation, committed to building an "all-round education" platform for society, and shaping future-oriented education guided by the IB philosophy.
