Prof. Lerner is the first psychologist in the history of the Harvard Kennedy School to receive tenure. Professor Lerner also holds appointments in Harvard’s Department of Psychology and Institute for Quantitative Social Sciences. Professor Lerner She won the “Sensational Sixty” Award (2012), conferred by the Director of the National Science Foundation, this award recognized 60 of the “most prominent scientists” out of the 45,000 individuals in all areas of science and engineering who received graduate research fellowships in the last 60 years. She also won the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) (2004), conferred by the President of the United States and the Director of the National Science Foundation, this is “the highest honor bestowed by the United States to early-career scientists and engineers.”

Professor Cardwell is the author of more than 370 papers and patents, a founding member of the European Society for Applied Superconductivity, and a board member of five international academic journals. In 2012, he was awarded the honorary title of Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering for his research and development in the engineering application of superconductor materials. Professor Cardwell, who has been recruiting undergraduate students since 2003, has interviewed more than 3,000 students over the past decade and is actively involved with the university activities. He served as director of graduate programs from 2007 to 2013 and was appointed as the Dean of the School of Engineering in 2014. Professor Cardwell was the Chairman of the Graduate Research Council, established and led the Cambridge Graduate School of Technology, and has held positions in various departments of Cambridge University.

Prof. Raghavendra is the past president of the European Finance Association, and a past editor of Financial Management. He is a founder and director of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF) and a member of the Cambridge Corporate Governance Network (CCGN). Prof. Raghavendra was Principal at Barclays Global Investors, then the largest asset manager in the world, in San Francisco from 2008 to 2009. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Corporate Finance, the Journal of Banking and Finance, Financial Review, the Quarterly Journal of Finance, among others. His research has frequently been covered by the popular press including the New York Times, the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Economist, among others.

Prof. Melhuish’s studies contributed to social policy in the UK, including the 1989 Children Act, the 2005 Children Act, 2006 Childcare Bill. So far, Professor Melhuish has achieved outstanding research results, published more than 300 academic papers, and was awarded the Order of the British Empire in 2016 for his outstanding contributions to the field of social sciences. Over many years he has acted as an advisor and consultant on a pro-bono basis to many charities and voluntary organisations involved with child well-being, including NSPCC, Save the Children, Action for Children.
