创业周末是一个54小时的项目，让你身临其境体验创业和激发创新思维。这是一个为技术和非技术创业者们提供体验式教育而设计的活动，以行动、创新和教育为核心，十分紧凑且充实。活动让参加者接受挑战性的任务--去创建一个功能型的创业公司。
Startup Weekend is a 54-hourevent providing an immersive experience into entrepreneurship and innovativethinking. This event is designed to provide superior experiential education fortechnical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Participants are challenged to buildfunctional startups during this intensive program.
创业周末也是一个全球性的NPO创业组织，由本地志愿者运营。于2007年在美国成立。该组织目前覆盖140多个国家和4,000多个城市。在大中华区，我们在包括香港，澳门和台湾在内的14个城市拥有社区。“给予第一”是我们的核心价值。
Startup Weekend is also an international non-profitentrepreneurial community founded in US by Techstars Company in 2007. This organization covers 140+ countries and 4,000+ city till now. In Greater China our community covers 14+ cities including HK, Macao and Taiwan. “Giver first” is our core value.

创业周末活动总共54小时，从周五晚上创业点子分享 (pitch)、头脑风暴到周六周日两天的商业模式创立、产品雏形设计和营销方案确立，再到星期天晚上的路演。通过这紧凑的54个小时，参与者共同分享经验，组成团队，并将创业点子转化为可行的产品，最终可能成立自己的团队和新的公司。
Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations. Through this compact 54 hours, participants share experiences with others, and turn entrepreneurial ideas into most viable products that may eventually set up their own teams and new companies.

You will not only have in-depth idea exchange with mentors who come from diverse backgrounds spanning brand design,business consulting, community growth, supply chain management, industrial design, automation, artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing, and other fields of expertise. Their experience comes from different countries such as China, the United States,France, India, and German, to name a few. Even more, you might have the opportunities to get found by Chinese and foreign investors.

About Registration Fee
活动为非盈利项目，由创业周末本地社区的志愿发起和组织，报名费用将用于活动本身，例如：服装、餐饮、饮用水、零食、水果、文具、场地费用、工具包等活动支出。
This event is a non-profit project initiated and organized by the volunteers of local Startup Weekend Community. The registration fee will be used for the event expenditures, such as, clothing, catering, drinking water, snacks, fruit,stationery, venue fees, tool kits, etc.
参赛者票：提供3天7顿餐饮、纪念T-shirt、办公物料（不含住宿车费）等
Participant's ticket: Provide 7 meals of 3 days, commemorate T-shirts,office materials (excluding accommodation fares), etc.
学生票：凭学生证签到，提供3天餐饮、纪念T-shirt、办公物料（不含住宿车费）等
Student ticket: Register with a student ID card is necessary, provide 3 days of catering, commemorate T-shirts, office materials (excluding accommodation fares), etc.
周日观众票：周日下午4:30签到入场，晚餐视门票类型提供，不提供纪念T-shirt
Sunday observation ticket: Check in at 4:30 pm on Sunday, dinner according to the ticket type, no commemorative shirt
PS：除周日观众，参与者请自备电脑
PS:In addition to the audience on Sunday, participants should bring their own laptop.
常见问题 / Q&A
Q1：活动用什么语言？A：中英文结合，活动主持英文为主，路演宣讲中文为主，但您无需过于担心语言问题，现场有不少双语小伙伴和翻译人员。
Q1:What language does this event use? A: Both Chinese and English, facilitator speaks English, but pitching will be in Chinese mainly. All in all you don't need to worry too much about language problem. There are many bilingual attendees and interpreters.
Q2: 具体要做出什么东西？A：最后活动的输出成果包括：商业计划书，MVP最小可行性产品设计、路演PPT。
Q2:What is the output of this event? A: The outputs include: business plan，MVP（minimum viable product）design, and pitching slides.
Q3：我需要整个54小时都待在现场吗？A：并不完全是，但是不要轻易抛弃你的队友。如有特殊原因必须要缺席请务必提前通知你的组员和组织者。当然，晚上是可以回家休息的。
Q3:Do I need to stay in the event for the entire 54 hours? A: Not exactly, but don't easily abandon your teammates. If you have to be absent for special reasons, please be sure to inform your team members and organizers in advance.Of course, you can go home and rest at night.
Q4：因为行程有变，无法按时参加活动，可以退票吗？A：可以退票。活动开始一周前可以联系活动组织者退票（于9月13号之前），活动开始一周内无法退票，但可以自由转赠票。
Q4: Can I refund my ticket if I can't participate the event on time due to the itinerary change? A: Yes. You can contact the event organizer to refund the ticket one week before the event (before September 13th). The event cannot be refunded within one week, but you can freely transfer the ticket.
