“千万别千万次”是一句口头禅，是一种反反复复、无休无止的胶着状态。它既指涉对往昔生活经验的记忆，也是康靖内心天人交战的注脚。类似创作时最终的心理安慰：将事物归因于自然的合目的性。
这些作品是康靖上次展览“过去都是假的”树木系列作品的延续，算是对这两年来创作的阶段性总结。
此次展览启用了墨方的两个展览空间，以现代都市文明中被人为规约的形态为线索。第一空间的主体作品是一组假拟的城市公共空间作品模型，循树枝形态而围合的造型，这一形式参照了商业地产沙盘，在商业楼盘中，开发商将树与建筑并置，以强调项目的绿化率，从而抬高其市场价值。在这组作品中，树不仅作为建筑体的附属，还是建筑造型的来源。这组作品中，我们可以看到，每个模型对应一棵树的小雕塑，后者的部分树枝是前者的造型来源。
在第二空间，将重点呈现一件现场创作的装置作品，该装置以树和水泥为主要材料。展览开始时，作品还是原始材料的形态，在大约一周左右的时间里，我们将根据树干的自然形态浇筑水泥、搭建骨架和模板。这一制作过程也作为展览的一部分，一如日常生活劳作的片断，届时将通过微信、抖音、ins等社交平台发布。
展览将持续至7月12日。

“Never Ever Again” is a catch phrase used to convey the repetitious and endless state of anxiety. It refers to many memories from Kang Jing’s past life experience and serves as a footnote to the internal struggles of my art practice. Ultimately, it works as a comfort to the mind where I remind myself: things should be allowed to return to the purposiveness of nature.
These works, as an extension from the Wood series presented in the previous solo exhibition, “The Past is All Fake,” sum up Kang Jing’s art practice over the last two years.
This exhibition, making use of both art spaces at Mocube, follows the clues drawn from the artificial confines of modern civilization in urban areas. For the first space, there is a series of mock-up artworks in public spaces that are based on the forms tree branches, while referring to the architectural models at real estate sales room. For commercial real estate, the developer often places trees with the buildings to emphasize the degree of greenery which likely brings up its market value. In this series, the trees are not only supplementary to the architecture, but also are the source for the architectural form. In them, we can see that every model corresponds to the sculpture of a small tree, the branches of the latter come from the composition of the former.
In the second space, an installation completed on site will be highlighted, consisting of trees and cement. At the beginning of the exhibition, the primary materials will be kept intact. One week later, we will cast cement according to the natural form of the withered branches and build a structure and model. This fabrication process will also be part of this exhibition, to reveal the fragments of everyday labor, and released through social media platforms, such as Wechat, Tik Tok and Instagram.
The exhibition will continue until July 12, 2020.
康靖
1982年出生于中国山东，现居北京。康靖的作品注重物理空间和心理空间的关系，作品形式涉及行为、装置、雕塑、影像等。其创作从急剧变化的生存环境，以及自乡村到城市的生活体验入手，通过对事物的观察、研究、参与寻求思维空间的拓展以及深入的交流方式。康靖敏感于事物本身的潜在力量，并善于将其强化显现出来。同时，创作也是其自我塑造和调适的方式。建构这种物我相互映照的关系，意在变动不居的现实中不断寻找支点和突破。
康靖作品曾在墨方、佩斯（北京）、今日美术馆、民生现代美术馆、上海多伦美术馆、筑中美术馆、广州源美术馆、前波画廊、悉尼中国文化中心（澳大利亚）、波兹坦艺术空间（德国）等地展出。
