桂林电子科技大学国庆假期安全提示

一年一度的国庆假期即将来临，首先预祝大家假期愉快！根据学校安排，国庆节放假时间为10月1日至7日共七天。10月8日（星期六）起正常上课。
调课安排：10月8日（星期六）上星期四的课，10月9日（星期日）星期五的课。

Dear teachers and students,           The National  Day Holiday will start from October 1st to October 7th. The campus will reopen on october 8th, 2016.         Class arrangements: October 8th (take classes of Thursday), October 9th (take classes of Friday)

放假期间，有很多同学计划外出旅游，在此留学生办公室提示各位同学外出期间注意个人安全，外出前将行程及联系方式告知家人或朋友，并确保与家人朋友通讯的畅通。If you plan to travel during the break, be aware of your own safety. Let your friend and family know your travel itinerary, and make sure you are reachable. You should program the Police number 110 into your phone for emergencies.

一、注意交通安全：　　    假期出行尽量选用公共交通工具，不要驾驶或乘坐摩托车及电动自行车等危险系数高的交通工具。1. Be aware of the traffic safety. If you plan to travel outside of Beijing, it’s strongly recommended that you take public transportation. Do not take vehicles such as motorcycle or electric bicycle as th

二、注意人身安全：    外出时，特别是夜晚出行，最好是结伴，注意人身安全，不要去人员混杂的地方，减少在僻静人少处逗留。增强防范意识，不要轻信他人。遇到以介绍工作、学习语言等名义搭讪的陌生人，要注意保护好个人财物及隐私；不要跟随初识的人去陌生、偏僻场所；不要将陌生人带到自己的住处；遇到可疑人或者身份不明人员进入宿舍，应保持警惕，及时向公寓管理人员报告。如果遇到任何形式的电话诈骗、或者以中奖为名义的短信、或者要求汇款的信息，不要相信。2. Take care of your personal security. When you travel outside, make sure avoid walking alone, especially at night. Always keep away from remote regions and places to ensure your safety. Don’t trust strangers too easily. If someone comes to talk to you in the street by the name of introducing jobs or language study, stay away from them. Take good care of your individual belongings and property. Do not take strangers back to your dormitory. Whenever you notice any suspicious activity or crime, report it to the security staff. If you receive a phone call from strangers or text message telling you that you’ve won a lottery or asking you to wire transfer money to a specific account, be super careful, this is voice phishing or phone fraud. Don’t trust it, just leave it alone! 三、注意财物安全：在公共场所、旅游景点、购物中心等人多的地方，注意保管好个人财物，钱包、手机、笔记本电脑等贵重物品随身携带，不要托付不认识的人帮忙看管个人物品。外出不要随身携带大量现金，也不要在宿舍存放太多的现金，对于网上银行、网络汇款、中奖、网上购物等汇款行为要注意核对对方身份，不要轻易汇款。3.
