新学期伊始,广东以色列理工学院教师在科研方面取得喜人进展:
2021年8月19日,物理系副教授Marcelo Ciappina与合作者在《Nature Physics》发表题为"Generation of optical Schrödinger cat states in intense laser–matter interactions"的研究论文。
论文利用原子中的高次谐波产生过程,给出了强激光-原子相互作用可能导致产生高度非经典光状态的理论和实验证明。这项研究的结果为利用与高次谐波产生相关的物理过程的调节方法来研究控制超强光的非经典状态开辟了道路,有望以全新的方式将超强激光物质物理学和阿托科学与量子信息科学和量子技术联系起来。
《Nature Physics》是物理学领域最重要的学术期刊之一,2020年的影响因子为20.034。

2021年9月1日,环境科学与工程系教授顾继东与合作者在《Water Research》发表题为"Dredging alleviates cyanobacterial blooms by weakening diversity maintenance of bacterioplankton community"的研究论文。
论文估计了疏浚前后浮游细菌群落的多种特性和生态组装过程,凸显了浮游细菌对疏浚引起的环境变化的反应。研究结果扩展了对浮游细菌多样性对水营养水平的贡献的认识,阐释了响应疏浚的浮游细菌多样性维持机制,有助于指导减轻蓝藻水华,对于梳理疏浚背后的生态机制、制定并实施改善水质的环境政策具有重要意义。
《Water Research》是环境科学领域的顶级学术期刊之一,2020年的影响因子为11.236。
