近日，“以视频为媒，记广以之美”广东以色列理工学院第二届视频大赛圆满结束。本届比赛吸引了广以在校本科生、研究生、毕业生们广泛参与。他们将自己的奇思妙想融入视频创作中，用Vlog、动画、剧情、延时摄影等各种形式，向观众展示不同角度的广以之美。
吉隆坡电影学院院长、汕头电影工业协会顾问胡禄丰；广东广播电视台教育工作室负责人、主任编辑袁媛；南方都市报N视频编导李琳；汕头广播电视台影视导演杨溢；广东以色列理工学院沟通、英语及写作课程导师Constance Van Horne；广东以色列理工学院博士生、B站学习区Up主程天嵩应邀参与本次大赛的评审工作，为决赛作品打分并给予专业建议。
广东以色列理工学院副校长林丹明、传媒与公共事务部主任李敏及部分评审为大赛获奖者颁奖。
本届比赛得到了南方都市报N视频的大力支持。N视频一直致力于扶持高校大学生进行视频创作与生产。在去年N视频×湾区高校大学生优质原创作品扶持计划中，广东以色列理工学院通过专家评审会的层层审议，获得“十佳校园团体奖”，所获扶持奖金会用于此次比赛以及后续校园创作者的培养之中。
本次大赛历时1个多月，收到近20份投稿作品。在经历初赛13位校内评审的筛选后，共有10份作品入围决赛。决赛评委们从主题契合度、技术水平、创造力、表现力四个层面现场为视频打分。结合初赛和大众投票的成绩，本次大赛共决出一等奖一名、二等奖两名、三等奖三名、优秀奖四名及网络人气奖一名。

与上届比赛相比，本届比赛参赛作品的种类及内容更加丰富，技术层面也有显著进步，中英双语字幕凸显广以全英教学的独特魅力。评委们纷纷对作品成熟度及流畅性给予充分肯定，也对作品在选题方面、逻辑层面、切入角度方面及制作细节方面提出详细的改进意见。
目前，短视频已经逐渐在年轻一代中流行起来。视频时代改变了大家工作与生活的方式，而举办视频大赛顺应了这种流行的趋势。此次视频大赛涌现出许多充满创意可圈可点的优秀作品，将视频“玩”出了属于广以人的精彩。
未来，广以将继续举办此类视频比赛及相关培训，为广以学子展示自身创意营造良好的创作环境，从而激发学生的创造力，生产出具有广以特色的视频作品。
Video Competition

The second video competition of Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, with the theme of "using video as a medium to record the beauty of GTIIT", was successfully concluded. This year's competition attracted a wide range of undergraduates, graduate students and graduates. They integrate their own creation into videos, and use various forms such as Vlog, animation, plot, time-lapse photography, etc., to show the beauty of GTIIT from different angles.
Mr. Jeremiah Foo, President of Kuala Lumpur Film Academy and Advisor of Shantou Film Industry Association; Ms. Yuan Yuan, Head and Chief Editor of Guangdong Radio and Television Station Education; Ms. Li Lin, Director of Southern Metropolis Daily N Video; Mr. Yang Yi Director of Shantou Radio And Television; Dr. Constance Van Horne, Instructor of GTIIT’s Communications, Writing and Englishcourse and Mr. Cheng Tiansong, PhD student of GTIIT and Bilibili Content Creator, were invited to participate in the evaluation of this competition, scoring the final works and giving professional suggestions.
Prof. Lin Danming, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT, and Ms.Li Min, Director of News and Public Affairs Department, and some judges were invited to be the presenters of this competition.
This competition is supported by Southern Metropolis Daily N Video. N Video has always been dedicated to supporting university students in video creation and production. Last year, in the “N Video x Greater Bay Area original video of college students support program”, GTIIT won the “Top Ten Campus Group Award”. The prize received will be used to support the cultivation of outstanding video creation talents in university.
The competition lasted for nearly 2 months and received nearly 20 submissions. After being screened by 13 university judges, a total of 10 entries were shortlisted for the finals. The judges of the finals scored the video on-site from four aspects: themefit, technical level, creativity, and expressiveness. Combined with the results of the preliminary round and public voting, the competition decided one first prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes, four excellence awards and one internet popularity award.

Compared with the previous competition, the types and contents of this year's entries are more abundantdiverse, and the technical level has also made significant progress. The bilingual subtitles in both Chinese and English highlight the unique charm of GTIIT's full-English teaching. The judges gave full affirmation to the work's maturity and fluency of expression, and also gave detailed suggestions for improving the work in terms of topictheme, logic and technologytechniques.
Short videos have gradually become popular amongthe younger generation. The video era has changed our work and lifestyle, andholding a video contest conforms to this popular trend. In this video contest,many creative and remarkable students have emerged. The excellent works can letthe audience experience the unique characteristics of GTIIT.
In the future, GTIIT will continue to hold such video competitions and related trainings to provide a platform for GTIIT students to show their creativity, show the charm of the university, and createfostera good creation environment.
