CIICW 2022 | 产学融合蓄新势 中以合作谋创新
9月5日至9月9日，由中国科技部、以色列经济与产业部、江苏省人民政府、以色列驻华大使馆共同主办的2022中国—以色列创新合作周在常州举行。作为中以两国高等教育合作典范，广东以色列理工学院与中国以色列常州创新园及多家企业机构开展深入交流，在人才培养、产学研合作、成果转化等方面共商合作。
在第三届中以创新合作与产业投资大会现场，广东以色列理工学院与中国以色列常州创新园签署战略合作谅解备忘录。中科院院士、广以校长龚新高、以色列驻华大使潘绮瑞、国家有关部委司局领导以及中以双方企业代表、专家学者等领导嘉宾共同见证。

在合作共赢、共同创新的共识下，双方约定推动高校与地方进行教育与人才培养、基础和应用研究、科技成果转化等方面合作，充分利用广以国际化高水平师资力量与科研能力，发挥中以园区位和产业优势，围绕智能制造、新材料、生命健康等领域开展交流与合作，推动中以合作进一步高质量发展。
随后，龚新高院士与常州市委常委乔俊杰一行开展座谈交流，双方就产学研等达成广泛共识，表示将进一步推动实质性合作。广以校长助理裔传萍、本科生院院长Dganit Danino、数学与计算机科学系主任Eli Aljadeff、科创中心主任吕琦鹏以及常州市武进区领导、中以常州创新园负责人参加了座谈。
乔俊杰对龚新高院士一行表示欢迎。他强调，广东以色列理工学院作为我国顶尖的研究型学院，秉持独有的“重基础、重思维、重研究、重创新”育人模式，培养出了一批视野开阔、有人文精神的卓越工程师和科学家。他希望双方重点围绕产业技术创新、专业人才培养等方面加强交流，同时积极对接武进产业升级转型和创新发展需求，围绕智能制造以及生命健康等领域开展合作。
龚新高院士向与会领导介绍了广以的学科建设、科研进展等办学成果。他表示，广以全面引进以色列理工学院的优质教育资源，加速建设有国际影响力的研究型大学，旨在培养创新能力强、全球视野宽和人文情怀深的卓越工程师和科技人才，推动中以在教育、科技等领域合作。希望能与中以常州创新园在教育共建、人才培养、产学研合作、成果转化等方面进一步推动实质性合作，形成多点开花的共赢局面。

9月6日，广以代表团一行参观中以常州创新园、武进国家高新区、西太湖科技产业园等科技创新园区，与中以科创学院，星星充电公司，富朗世中国，苏文电能科技股份有限公司，常州联德电子有限公司，常州西太湖细胞治疗前沿技术研究院等多家院校机构和科技企业负责人开展深入交流。企业负责人纷纷表示，双方在医疗卫生、材料科学、智能制造、新能源和现代农业等多个领域高度契合，期待能与广以高端科研和教育资源擦出更多火花。

The 2022 China-Israel Innovation Cooperation Week (CIICW) hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC, Ministry of Economy and Industry of Israel, Jiangsu Provincial Government, and Embassy of Israel in China was held from September 5th to 9th in Changzhou, Jiangsu. Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT), as a model of China-Israel educational cooperation, carried out in-depth communication with institutes and enterprises including China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park, and discussed further collaboration in the aspects of talent cultivation, university-enterprise cooperation and technology transformation.
At the 3rd China-Israel Innovation Cooperation and Industrial Investment Conference, GTIIT signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation between the two sides. Leaders and guests including Prof. Gong Xingao, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Chancellor of GTIIT, Irit Ben-Abba Vitale, Israel's Ambassador to China, enterprise representatives and experts from China and Israel attended the conference.
Signing of Memorandum
Under the consensus of win-win cooperation and common innovation, both sides agreed to promote collaboration in education and talents cultivation, basic and applied research, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, to combine GTIIT's international and advanced research resources with the industrial advantages of the Park, and to conduct communication and cooperation in smart manufacturing, innovative materials, life sciences, etc., further promoting high-quality development of China-Israel cooperation.
After the conference, Prof. Gong Xingao had a discussion with Qiao Junjie, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee. The two sides reached a consensus on university-industry coordination and would further promote substantive cooperation. Dr. Queena Yi, Associate Pro Vice Chancellor; Prof. Dganit Danino, Dean of Undergraduate Studies; Prof. Eli Aljadeff, Head of Mathematics with Computer Science Program; Michael Lv, Director of Guangdong Technion Technology Entrepreneurship and leaders of Wujin District of Changzhou City and the Park attended the meeting.
Qiao Junjie extended his welcome to Chancellor Gong. He stressed that GTIIT, as a top research university in China, held the unique education mode of "emphasizing foundation, thinking, research and innovation", and has cultivated a group of outstanding engineers and scientists. He hoped that the two sides would focus on industrial technology innovation and professional talent training, meet the needs of Wujin's industrial upgrading and transformation, innovation and development, and take on cooperation in the aspects including smart manufacturing and life science.
Chancellor Gong introduced GTIIT's history and achievements and stressed the university's commitment to establishing an elite STEM university with worldwide recognition, cultivating innovative talents through highly qualified education recourses with its root in Chinese culture and enhancing China-Israel cooperation in education and technology. He hoped that GTIIT and the Park could make joint efforts in education co-building, talent cultivation, university-enterprise cooperation, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, etc.

On September 6th, the delegation of GTIIT visited institutes and unicorns including China-Israel Scientific Innovation Academy, Wanbang Digital Energy (Star Charge), Fluence Corporation, Suwen Electric Energy Technology Co.,ltd., Changzhou Lambda Electronic Co., LTD, Changzhou Xitaihu Lake Cell Therapy Technology Research Institute. The representatives of the institutes and enterprises looked forward to a further collaboration with GTIIT, for their high compatibility in the fields of life science, materials science, smart manufacturing, new energy and modern agriculture.
