The famous Minghu Show, a dynamic large-scale recreation of real events, was staged again at Jinan's Daming Lake scenic area on May 19. The show was inspired by Jinan's unique history and beautiful natural scenery.

Jinan to ramp up efforts to attract foreigners
Jinan will introduce more visas for areas such as tourism, study tours, immigration, and overseas finance to its regional visa center. As well, the city will invite more foreign chambers of commerce to come and locate there – and international organizations to set up offices in the city. That's according to local officials during the Two Sessions. Also, the city will increase the number of its international sister cities to 80 in the future.
2020年济南市政府工作报告指出，济南将做强做优其签证中心，引进更多旅游、游学、移民、海外金融等签证服务；并且吸引更多海外商会及国际机构入驻。同时，济南将推动国际友城总数增至80个。

济南董家铁路货运中心首次开行欧亚班列
Jinan opens second service station for Eurasian freight train
The China-Europe freight train was first introduced to the Dongjia Railroad Freight Transportation Center in Jinan on May 18. The departure of the Qilu Eurasian train from Dongjia Railroad Freight Transportation Center marks the beginning of joint operations between the railroad freight transportation center and Jinan South Railway Station for the China-Europe freight train. The Jinan China-Europe freight train has witnessed 171 departures this year, a 137.5 percent increase year-on-year. The freight is expected to bring more trade cooperation to the region in the future.
5月18日，济南董家铁路货运中心首次开行欧亚班列，标志着“齐鲁号”欧亚班列正式迈入济南南站和董家镇站共同发运的“双核时代”。今年以来，济南欧亚班列共开行171列，同比增长137.5%。未来，济南欧亚班列将促进更多当地贸易合作。
