济南成功运行世界首个“电磁橇”





An ultrahigh-speed test device for electromagnetic propulsion – the "electromagnetic sled" – was successfully operated in Jinan, Shandong province.






近日,阶段性建成的世界首个电磁推进地面超高速试验设施——“电磁橇”,在济南成功运行。


The device can propel an object weighing one metric ton or above at a speed of 1,030 kilometers per hour, which sets the world's highest speed record for high-mass ultrahigh-speed electromagnetic propulsion technology.






该设备对于吨级及以上物体最高推进速度可达每小时1030公里,创造了大质量超高速电磁推进技术的世界最高速度纪录。







The device is jointly developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Jinan municipal government and the Shandong provincial government.






“电磁橇”设施是由中国科学院与山东省、济南市开展战略合作的重大项目。


The "electromagnetic sled" has advantages that include large thrust, fast response, precision and controllability. It can be used as a testing method in the R&D of transportation vehicles, satellites and aircraft, experts said.






专家表示,“电磁橇”具有推力大、响应快、精确可控等突出优势,可为高速地面交通、航空飞行器等高速先进装备的研发提供重要的测试手段。







The device is able to provide testing services to relevant domestic enterprises and research units, which is of great significance to support the sustained and rapid development of China's high-mass high-speed advanced equipment and high-speed scientific and technological research.






目前,“电磁橇”设施可向国内相关企业和研究单位提供试验与测试服务,对支撑我国大质量高速先进装备持续快速发展和高速科学技术研究具有重大意义。
