"Never forget your dream no matter how busy you are," said Lu Dechun, a Jinan 58-year-old vegetable market vendor who has been passionate about Chinese calligraphy for several decades. When customers leave, he seizes the opportunity to practice his calligraphy.

“生活再忙，也别丢了梦想。”58岁的济南菜市场商贩路德春如是说。趁着没顾客的空当儿，他便翻开一本字帖，照着古代书法家的作品，仔细临摹起来。

Jinan named green freight distribution demonstration city in China

Jinan was recently named among the third group of green freight distribution demonstration cities in China. It aims to reduce 35,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually in the next three years, building a low-carbon but highly efficient smart modern logistics system.

近日，济南市成功入选国家第三批城市绿色货运配送示范工程创建城市。未来三年，济南市将朝着每年减少3.5万吨二氧化碳排放、减少污染物排放和提升城市运行整体效率的目标迈进。

签下5250.99万美元首单

Jinan delegation signs $52.5m order 

with US company

The delegation from Jinan signed a $52.5 million order with US company Cytiva at the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) on Nov 5, marking the first business deal made by Shandong province at this year's CIIE.

11月5日，济南市采购企业齐鲁制药集团有限公司与美国丹纳赫集团旗下子公司Cytiva（思拓凡）实现展位成交，订单金额共计5250.99万美元，该笔订单也成为第五届中国国际进口博览会山东省交易团首单，实现了开门红。

Cainiao to build cross-border e-commerce warehouse in Jinan

Cainiao Network, the logistics arm of Alibaba Group, made its decision to build a warehouse in Jinan for cross-border commerce. The project earned Jinan 1 billion yuan ($137.86 million) worth of purchase orders from companies in Japan and South Korea at the 5th CIIE, which was held from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai.

11月5日，在第五届中国国际进口博览会济南交易分团签约仪式现场，知名电商平台阿里巴巴旗下菜鸟中心仓与日韩企业签订采购订单，签约金额10亿元。菜鸟中心仓于10月24日签约入驻济南综保区。

Chinese-French Environment Month kicks off in Jinan

The Chinese-French Environment Month, entitled "Blue Planet", kicked off in Jinan on Nov 6, in order to increase people's awareness of environmental protection and strengthen cooperation between Shandong and France in protecting the environment.

“蓝色星球”中法环境月（济南）于11月6日开幕，让人们在手工创作中提高生态环境保护意识，加强山东与法国在环境保护方面的合作。
