Jinan's foreign trade
grows 18.1% in Jan-Oct
Foreign trade for Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, reached 178.61 billion yuan ($25.39 billion) in the first 10 months of 2022, up 18.1 percent year-on-year, according to local customs. The total amount accounted for 6.6 percent of the province's total.
据济南海关统计，今年前10个月，济南市外贸进出口1786.1亿元，同比增长18.1%，占全省进出口总值的6.6%。

Jinan speeds up construction
of child-friendly city
The Jinan Initiative on Child-friendly City was issued at the 11th Regional Leaders Summit Event Series held in Jinan on Nov 15.
11月15日，第十一次友好省州领导人峰会“儿童与绿色发展”主题活动在山东大厦举行。活动现场发布了《儿童友好济南倡议》。
Child-friendly development is one of the initiatives for Jinan's 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25). The city attaches high priority to city development to accommodate 1.8 million children and strives to create a green and sustainable development environment for them.
据介绍，建设儿童友好城市被列入济南“十四五”规划。济南市有近180万儿童，始终坚持儿童优先发展理念，像爱护泉水一样爱护儿童，全力为儿童营造绿色可持续的发展环境。
海峡两岸新旧动能转换产业合作区
2025年计划引进外资100亿美元
Jinan cross-Straits cooperation park
targets $10b inbound investment by 2025
Since the launch of the industrial cooperation park focusing on cross-Straits new growth driver transformation in Jinan in 2021, the park has signed 54 Taiwan-funded and related projects. By 2025, the park is expected to attract $10 billion of inbound investment.
国家级海峡两岸新旧动能转换产业合作区设立一年多以来，签约台资及关联项目54个。根据规划，到2025年，产业合作区计划引进台资企业200家，带动关联企业300家，总投资超过100亿美金。
